Well again more stability issues ?? 😛

I hope that in some ps4 update eventually they will find a hole like there was with ps3 on 3.55 firmware and they would make a cfw for ps4. It would be cool.

    • Rage says:

It won’t be cool…it would be stupidity if a cfw is released for the young console

      • CHRIS says:

No. it would be cool my friend. If a console ps4 costs around 350-360€ and if you like 10 games for let’s say around 40-50€ each game and maybe more if it’s new, then with that money you buy a second console. It is no worth. and here in greece people don’t have much money. Most people buy ps4 and one or two games and they waiting for ps4 to be hacked. There in your country my dear friend thinks may be different as about the economy. It may be better than here. The same it was with ps3 when it was released. People was buying and with one or two games and then they were waiting for it to be hacked. Here it was released in 2007 and it was hacked in 2011. I think that if a company wants a console to be hacked then it will be hacked. They just want to reach their estimated selling budget and then they are not intrested enough in hacking the console because they already have sold enough for making the money that they spent on console promotion and selling part. I know from a friend of mine that was downgraded my ps3 that a ps4 hack it is studying from hackers but nothing more or less can’t be said before something is ready for release or something. So it’s for xbox one. I am not saying something for sure but I know that hackers are working on that.

It’d better allow for disc-based backwards compatability, without having to rebuy anything.

    • Adam Fox says:

that wouldn’t be on a minor firmware upgrade more than likely….maybe once 4.0 is released, something major like that would be released….IF they do disc-based backwards compatibility.

    • jazneo says:

I bet you they want use to rebuy ps2 games

I want to add my own background wallpaper why is it such an issue ? instead of themes that I don’t really like

It’s pure speculation on his part. It’s not that hard to assume a major FW should be coming soon. With the whole PS2 emulation news and PSX right around the corner it makes sense that if Sony were to actually announce their full plan for PS1/PS2 emulation at PSX that a firmware would be soon to follow.

  5. Edgar says:

This ^, I don’t understand why I am not allowed to use my own wallpaper. Also I know this isn’t ps4 related, but ps2 support on ps vita would be awesome! Of course it will most likely never happen.

I would be really stoked if they allowed you to share-play to more than one friend at a time.

I just updated simply to buy a game on PSN. Then my ps4 got stuck in that stupid “rebuilding database” for over two hours. I got frustrated and held down the power to reboot. I was able to connect to PSN but no games or apps would open. I then had to restart the console to fix that and all seems good. I wanted to DL and play Rocket League but with that hassle I couldn’t. I’ve only downloaded and installed it. Buying games on PSN or playing them shouldn’t require an update. It’s ridiculous. What happened to pick up and play? Now you have to set aside some time for installing the disc and or updates. And hope the issue above or similar doesn’t happen. I’m over it now but it was rally frustrating that day, I work full time and have a 4yo so gaming isn’t often.
