Wii U Emulator: Cemu 1.1.0 released
The Wii U emulator that became an instant success, Cemu, is out with update 1.1.0.
Wii U Emulator Cemu 1.1.0: What’s new?
Developer Exzap announced on GBATemp yesterday that he has rewritten the graphics backend, which has the side effect of fixing a bunch of graphic bugs, and should make bug fixing and improvements easier in the future. He mentions Shovel Knight is now working and playable.
This is a welcome update from most users, although there is still no support for AMD GPUs.
The full changelog:
- New future-proof GPU7 shader assembly to GLSL decompiler (work-in-progress)
- Fixed a few bugs in color and depth buffer emulation.
- Added more system functions, leading to higher compatibility.
- Added hacky support for DRC rotation. Right click on the render window & drag to change the orientation
- Implemented some background logic for audio emulation. No audio output yet.

Nice, but where can i find games?
It’s not that hard to do a google search.
I used google but i cant find anything
Amazon or eBay are great spots
Got the Emu, got the Game, put the Key in the keys.txt, but still wont run. Says:
“This file is encrypted and requires the Wii U common key to be launched. Keys can be configured in keys.txt”
I found the Common Key, Game Title Key and put them in the Keys File, but still nothing. Do I have to Extract everything in the .wud File?????

Too bad this is only going to worsen the Wii U’s already paltry sales.
Most people who care about consoles don’t have a PC strong enough to run this emulator…
The people who have such a PC probably game on it and don’t care about consoles…

I suppose by “hope” you mean “how”, otherwise it doesn’t make sense.
Anyhow, it doesn’t change the fact that is probably only going to lead to more piracy. Don’t care about the console? Fine, but evidently you do care about the games if you’re willing to emulate them, so at least buy them in that case. (Not saying they don’t, but that is most likely the case.)
I thought this was a prank
The emulator surfaced some time ago and it’s open source.
It’s no one’s fault that you are outdated with the news and thouggt this is a prank.
He is right. The first time it was posted here on wololo everyone thought it was a prank. It’s hard to believe it was real all along.
so much more easier to just buy the game you want to play and then just play it. i tried to make this work, but no success.. it does not worth it at all… maybe in a few years its playable.
yea so much easier and so much cheaper..
It will be more expensive if you have to buy the PC to emulate it…
If you have a beast PC you don’t need to spend anything extra other than Pirate the games.
Doesn’t the Wii U run on AMD? Kind of weird that it doesn’t work on AMD GPUs…
