Minimur, WTH Happened This Week? GTA V Back to the Future Vid, Youtube Red & Custom PS4 Faceplates!
Hey all! After an extra hour in bed, I am nice and refreshed ready to bring you an awesome news article! If you don’t believe me simply click & read!
This week’s news includes a reminder and the rumours of Paris Games Week, which Playstation will be hosting a conference – rather than a Gamescom conference which their competitors held, also some nice news about NFS, Just Cause and also (another) sweet advert from Playstation!
The only game I managed to find this week was:
Superbeat: Xonix – November 10th
The game was announced via the PS Blog, and are the same developers as DJ Max Fever, the PSP game released in 2008,
Nao Miyazawa took to the blog to also outline his favourite things about the game, here they are:
1. You can connect to PSN to view your DJ Ranking! You can see how you’re performing compared to other players in both local and worldwide ranking systems. You think you have rhythm in you? This is where you can show off against other rhythm gamers around the globe!
2. There are so many music genres to choose from! Superbeat: Xonic is equipped with tracks that range from Rock to Pop, Techno to R&B. You can always switch up the music you play and keep things feeling fresh. Also, each song has its own difficulty gauge, so you can practice with easier songs first, or give it your all and attempt to pass the more challenging songs from the get go!
3. Did I mention that all the original songs and music are incredibly awesome? I was hooked to all the catchy original songs even from my first playtest. I can listen to these songs even when I’m not playing. They get stuck in your head!
4. The three modes give a great learning curve to newcomers to the rhythm game genre. If you’re a seasoned music game player, you can tweak settings to make the game consistently challenging and fun, so no worries there. For those who are not-so-familiar-with-music-games, don’t fret! There will be a beginner mode (4TRAX), and you’ll be able to modify the music speed.
5. Tons of music patterns are available in Superbeat: Xonic. There are more than 200 different play patterns this game will throw at you. There will always be more difficult songs you can choose in each mode, and they will always have more complicated patterns to challenge your hand-eye coordination.
6. Like I mentioned in the beginning of the blog, there will be DLC available for Superbeat: Xonic I’ll get more details about this when we have more information! Superbeat: Xonic will be equipped with more than 45 songs to begin with.
7. You can take Superbeat: Xonic anywhere you go! The tracks average about 2 minutes in length, so you can pick up and play wherever you are in your day. Maybe you can rest your cell phone a bit, and make your PS Vita work hard for you for a little while! If you just want to indulge, you can play it via PlayStation TV as well!
Take a look at the video below and sound off below as to what you think, I’ll be getting this game – the menus and layout of the game just remind me of the good old PS2 games, which I looked like an idiot playing but still loved ever so much!

I was a part of the NFS Beta a few weeks ago, and enjoyed it greatly! I did find the controls a bit odd at times, but after a bit of getting used to they were mostly fine – the graphics were stunning, along with the video transitions that come from Live action to in-game. Some parts just left me with my jaw wide open!

If any of you’ve wondered why you’ll be destroying multiple cities in the upcoming Just Cause 3, Avalanche have happily released a new trailer for the game, focusing on the story of it all.
This is another game I’ll actually be getting, hopefully!
Fred Dutton took control of the PS Blog so he could have our attention in announcing how to watch the Paris Games Week conference, he also said how there’d be exclusive reveals, announcements on existing games, and much more!
Next Tuesday, 27th October 2015, from 4.45pm GMT/5.45pm CET, we’ll be drawing back the curtains on the inaugural Paris Games Week PlayStation Press Conference. In front of gathered media at the iconic La Grande Arche de la Défense, we’ll be announcing new games and offering some exciting updates on previously announced titles.
If you’d like to know where to watch the stream, it’ll be on both their twitch and youtube channel:

The custom faceplates which were announced at TGS recently, with the catchphrase ‘Play Colourful’ has now been announced to launch in the EU territory too. The trailer below shows which ones are available, unfortunately for me the Silver/Golden ones aren’t available for purchase in the UK. Not that I’d change anything about my 20th anniversary PS4……
There was a commenter asking about the price of the faceplates, and the blog poster made a pretty stupid error – which obviously the community picked up on:

are you an I D I O T ?

Here’s the awesome new advert from Sony, trying to sell you a PS4, being brutally honest, this is actually a really good advert, not only is it epic, but it can pin down the average joe that watched star wars when he was younger, and is now stuck in a job wanting to re-live his younger years.
Which is a lot of people.
What’re your thoughts on this ad? PS have been known recently to make awesome adverts when they put the effort in and not just a sizzle reel, but this is one of the great ones!

As we all know it was back to the future day on the 21st, and as a small celebration, a clever GTA V player made use of the Rockstar Editor to re-enact the scene from the film – adding a bit of audio-sync too, you’ve got one heck of a video!
Take a look below, as it’s pretty awesome!

Now that Rock Band 4 has released to a lackluster reception, the staff of the game have taken this and are trying to change people’s mind, one amazon review at a time.
The staff at Harmonix are posting 5* reviews of their OWN game…. Are you allowed to do that?
I think it’s cheating, personally.
If anyone has this game, I’d love to hear what you think about it, honestly I had no idea that it released. I think the gimmick of large plastic one-game instruments has long been passed, and one last time trying to revive it, didn’t go too well.

Like I showed you last week, Fallout 4 were running a fun little video series about the ‘S.P.E.C.I.A.L.’ stats, this week was the last one ‘Luck’.
Take a look at it, as it is just as comical as the previous ones!

Google have launched a new subscription service, named YouTube Red, which lives up to the rumours, for the price of $9.99, you will never see an ad again. This isn’t the only plus of paying that price, though, other benefits include background listening, so your music playlist can now be YouTube, offline viewing for all videos. If you are a member of Google Play Music, YouTube Red is free!
But not only this, youtube are also launching a new App, YouTube Music, much like YouTube Gaming, the Music app makes finding songs quicker and easier than ever.
Take a look at the video below, and you’ll get the gist of what YouTube Red is all about!

Omg… Who is Minimur and what does WTH mean ….. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF….. SO STUPID AND ANNOYING TITLE. PLEASE STOP POSTING ARTICLES WITH THIS KIND OF TITLE.
I’m Minimur12, and WTH stands for What the heck. But is also a play on words because Wololo’s homebrew is called Wagic The Homebrew, abbreviated WTH.
If you can suggest any way of making my blogs better, I’m all ears!
YouTube Red……… because Redtube was already taken?
I thought the Rock Band series ended ages ago….
My favoritw game would probably be Shadow of the colossus because its a great game.
