Minimur12, WTH Happened This Week? Kick Off Revival, Fallout 4 PC Specs & No Mans Sky
Hey all, I’ve got news about Vita games, a rumored No Mans Sky release date, and also another 20th-anniversary moneymaking scheme for your to ogle at today! Take a read!
I won’t start with the Vita news first, as when I do I’ve noticed that it looks a bit odd, with the advert in the way. So I’ll go over what news we have in store, more trophies for Driveclub, and the possibility of a release date for No Mans Sky!
I certainly don’t remember it, without making anyone feel old here it was before my time. But Dino Dini took to the PS Blog to announce a remaster/revival of his original games from the Kick Off series, coming to PS4 and Vita.
The man himself had quite a bit to say on the blog, I’ll quote a few things but if you’d like to read the whole piece, head to the link below the video:
Today I’m immensely happy to announce that Dino Dini’s Kick Off Revival, a brand new installment of my classic football simulation games, is coming exclusively to PS4 and PS Vita in 2016.
So, what can you expect from the new Kick Off? The important things will not change. The ball is not stuck to your feet; you can shoot the way you want; aiming and swerving the ball will be 100% under your control.
The game is going to be in 3D, but only because it is actually easier to make games like that these days. I may offer different camera views, but the default views will be the classic top down approach of Kick Off 2 and GOAL!, perhaps with small adjustments.
Although it is to be expected, I am surprised it has been announced so early. There will be a GOTY edition for Bloodborne, which includes the newly announced DLC, which you can see below along with the artwork for the physical version.
I certainly will be getting the DLC, Bloodborne has definitely been my favorite surprise game of the year. I’ve never really enjoyed these sorts of games, and even after I played the game itself at the lock-in event I went to back in February I wasn’t too fond of it. I decided to take the plunge after seeing all the amazing reviews, and submissions on Reddit, after being convinced I just had to get it, and I think I lost a fair amount of hair playing the game. The amount of stress was unreal!
Either way, it looks like in the new DLC there are plenty of new weapons being added to the armory to be used. Hopefully, this will add a fair amount of content to the game.
Don’t forget about my Ultimate BloodBorne Playlist I created with the help of Reddit:

Driveclub is set to receive a new set of trophies, and with 122 currently on the table for the trophy hunters to obtain it will only add to the anxiety of the players who need all trophies to function as a normal human.
I’m not a trophy hunter, I haven’t really bothered with any game to get a platinum, there isn’t one that I’ve found enjoyable enough to put in the effort. Even AC Black Flag, I didn’t enjoy enough to go trophy hunting, just every other type of hunting the game offered, treasure, whale, shark……
What platinums do you have?
In addition to the trophies, a new drive-assist feature will be added,

In the introduction I spoke about a new 20th-anniversary money making scheme…. and am I stupid enough to fall for it? Probably.
GAME UK are offering a Ltd edition (to 20,000) steelbook cases in the design of a Playstation 1 for the price of £59.99.
The contents of these cases include:
- 1 Years PS Plus
- £20 PS Voucher
Along with this, however, amongst the 20,000 being made 5 of which will include a golden ticket – to get yourselves a 20th anniversary PS4. Seeing this promotion makes me wonder, how many 20th anniversary PS4’s are still sitting in a warehouse, ready for a promotion or to be sold.
Will we be seeing a couple next year? Who knows.

Time for a nice easy filler piece, Playstation have brought out a new sizzle reel advert the 30-second long advert shows Star Wars, Destiny: The Taken King and of course Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection – It also took the chance to announce it’s new decision on dropping the price of the PS4 to $349.99.
Accompanied by the song ‘Go’ by the Chemical Brothers (definitely in my Gym playlist!)

We’ve all known about the Ratchet & Clank Movie for a while now, and this week a new trailer has been released, a full feature length trailer.
It shows quite a bit, and has me even more excited for it!
We mustn’t forget that the game will be released alongside the new R&C film. All of the R&C games have been fun, even if some were shorter experiences.
Take a look at the trailer below!
There has been a few educated guesses around the releasing of No Mans Sky, some say that it will be releasing later this month as a shock announcement while at Paris Games Week. as a pre-orderer of the game has his release date listed as October 27th

Failing this, however, industry insider known for his predictions, Tidux has said that during the PGW the game will be featured by Sony and an announcement for the Price and release date will be announced.
Could a shock release be possible? Sony’s track this year, with the announcement of FF7 Remake, The Last Guardian, and Shenmue 3, I wouldn’t be surprised if something of the sorts happens at the event.
I’m hoping for Project Morpheus support, too though!
Below is a recent interview that Stephen Colbert had with Hello Games’ Sean Murray, he showed the scope of the game and introduced a new feature where you are able to name planets and creatures you discover.

A new update for GTA: Online is incoming, and this time it will feature Lowriders, San Andreas style. Take a look at the trailer below to get an idea about what this includes, as it seems pretty nice.
Unfortunately, this is only for the newer consoles, PS4 and Xbox One – the previous consoles don’t have enough RAM to support any meaningful updates (how true this is I don’t know) – I personally gave up on GTA:O after a few goes on it a couple years ago. After purchasing the limited edition, I didn’t find enough replay value to warrant purchasing another copy.
Maybe when it’s dead cheap I will, but not anytime soon:

This is pretty interesting, Ubisoft released a new video featuring what seems like a GoPro attached to an Eagle, so we can see a POV flight of it. In the video too however is scenes of the game, spliced into the video. Take a look, it’s quite a nice video either way:

So, every now and then we get a new guest blogger. Our most recent addition to the team is XxZombiePikachu – hopefully he’ll be around for a while, and not come and go like some bloggers we’ve had!
Judging my how he introduced himself the other day, hopefully he’s with us for a while!
Welcome to the team!!!
Bethesda has announced the PC Specs required for their upcoming game, Fallout 4, and they aren’t too bad, but if your PC isn’t up to scratch and the plan was for you to play FO4 on your PC, well now you know what you need to upgrade before taking the chance and hoping that it’ll run!
