3DS System Update 10.1.0-27 is live
Nintendo pushed another firmware update to 3DS/3DS XL/2DS/New 3DS/New 3DS XL. It temporarily blocked Ninjhax 2.0, Ironhax and Tubehax but thanks to smealum, they can be used again with new payloads.

Official changelog for 10.1.0-27 firmware is “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience” just like the previous 10.0.0 firmware. Last firmware that actually included something other than stability update and exploit patching was 9.6.0.
It has also been confirmed that SKY3DS still works at 10.1.0-27 firmware. Also Gateway and RxTools emunand is working at 10.1.0-27 for Old 3DS. For New 3DS, latest supported emunand is still 9.5. According to reports, even though Gateway’s 10.1.0 emunand works, it is problematic. Gateway users won’t be able to use the multi rom menu until Gateway updates the card.
This is just another episode in this long cat and mouse game. Let’s see who will be the ultimate winner.

I’m still not updating from 9.9.0-26, as I think something big was patched on 10.0.0.
So, if i don’t update from 9.9.0 will i still be able to play online?

Some games allow online play for example I am in 9.9 and can play SSF4 3D and Mario Kart 7

I won’t get *** if I update, right? Because I want to be able to play online and I don’t use any of the homebrew anyway.
Nah man. I did it yesterday on cfw and it’s working great
it doesnt work for me its just stays on the black debug screen , it just keeps saying “got handle” then it freezes
Is it safe to update on CFW?
