So much new stuff gets released for the PS4 Webkit exploit right now that it is hard to follow.

A couple days ago, developer bigboss (a.k.a psxdev) released PS4Link/PS4Client.

For those of you who have used similar clients in the past, the goal here is probably obvious: being able to control your PS4 interactively through a command line on your PC. I’ve personally used PSPLink a lot and the idea here is similar.

PSPLink was an excellent way to debug code running on the PSP, and it was extremely efficient to either debug homebrew, or look for vulnerabilities in savegames.

PS4Link is not there yet though. This initial release is just the basic bricks and protocol. It will, of course only work on firmware 1.76 for now, and will only be useful for developers.

ps4link is a library for PS4 to communicate and use host file system with ps4client host tool. It is the same method that we used in ps2dev days, so basically it is the same protocol than ps2link and ps2client have been using since 2003.

Functions availables are defined like native sce functions so it is easy for homebrew developer to use these new functions:
