PSM+ Beta has started. How it will work
Hey people. I finally found the time to put in place the files sent to me by Major_Tom, Mr.Gas, and Yifanlu for PSM+.
What is PSM+?
PSM+ allows you to access PSM and PSM Unity (coming soon) without a license from Sony. This means you can develop and test with the PSM SDK and PSM for Unity without a publisher license–even after Sony shuts down developer access. Additionally, it allows for hacks such as Rejuvenate to work on any device with PSM DevAssistant installed for unrestricted native homebrew.
You must be running firmware 3.51 or lower and have PSM DevAssistant installed on your PS Vita. We are currently working on support for PSM Unity.

Where do I access PSM+?
As of now, the PSM+ functionality can be accessed only on a “by invite” basis. This is to limit the amount of traffic, and fix potential bugs before this goes public. Long story short, the release is working a bit like our traditional Ninja releases.
If things look normal, I will progressively open access to more and more people, until the page becomes “public”.
I need to emphasize, however, that to access the PSM+ pages, you will need a /talk account, even after the beta is over. This is not a lame attempt at getting more members on our forums, but a security measure: the PSM+ system is slightly intense on the CPU, so we need to have some reasonable way to control who accesses it, how often, etc.
PSM+ works by sending you some files by email, and letting you download other files directly to your computer. The email is sent to the email address you registered at wololo.net, but you need to open the email on your PS Vita. If you use a different email address for your wololo.net/talk account and on your Vita, you can simply forward the email to your vita account.
Because of how DRMs work with PSM, you will unfortunately need to use PSM+ every day (or at least, every day you want to use rejuvenate) to get a fresh license. Did I mention this was CPU intensive? Maybe one day we’ll find a way against this limitation, but for now this will be needed.
How do I know if I’m in the beta?
You should see a message “PSM+ Closed Beta” at the top of every single page of /talk. Again, remember that I will keep adding new members to the beta regularly, until we finally open PSM+ to everyone.

Should I be installing this now even tho i have my license, to avoid loads of people doing it at once? Great work guys looking forward to see were this all goes.
No, if you’re in the beta, give it a try now… ultimately, you will have to use psm+ anyway, because your official psm license will expire eventually.
I created a tutorial on a blogspot page I created, I don’t know I am allowed to post this here but here it goes… http://psvitahb.blogspot.com/

can’t wait to test! o/
Can’t wait until this goes live.
Sony’s decision of stopping the psm caused me and my mates trouble since our gamedev class uses the vita for learning and testing purposes.
Big thanks to the devs trying to make this possible !
PLZ ADD MEEE 😀 , my id also is the same, (kltsang)
Please Invite ID rezalockheart 😀
cool. thks.
Please! PSM+
I confirm it works. No more Sony server dependant! Congratulations!
como actualizo mi vita manualmente , ya que estoy en el firmware 3.15

@webneko, delete useless empty lines in .eml, just keep one empty line before the real data in each -id section (text or uuencoded data). to retry .eml do not hesitate to randomize the message-id entry each time to defeat mail app hidden cache
thx, I tried. The problem is maybe my psm version is too old. When transfered activever.dat, the PSM DevAssistent can only be in 1.11.01 SDK mode, cannot be changed to 1.20.00 SDK mode. And the PSM Publishing Utility cannot recognize my vita until I deleted activever.dat (just press OK).
if you have fw 3.01 and da 1.08, you might try upgrade to fw 3.10 up to 3.18 (dunno if it s possible) and thru pkg installer eml + qcma upgrade to da 1.14 (pkg size is 16Mb and its name is IP9100-PCSI00007_00-PSSUITEDEV000000-A0114-V0100-29622fe379594b215a038ed988c7c53958df33a0-PE.pkg you can find it easily i think atm)
My assumption was incorrect. I really thought you guys are going to generate license under an account that already have a license.
What do you mean by cpu intensive?
I am ready for an invite. I have everything prepared. Can’t wait to test this out.
help!!how to get in to ps store if ur psv is 3.51? i don’t wanna upgrade to 3.52 plz help ….
You can try PSVita Update Blocker if that still workers (not sure, Sony may have blocked it now), but other than that, staying on an older version of the firmware means you cannot use the PS Store without updating! I know how you feel, I recently got a used Vita with firmware 3.01 (updated it to firmware 3.18) so I too cannot use the PlayStation Store!
Personally im holding out for this Rejuvinate hack thing going on, and a PSP emulator exploitable game!
But if you dont care for homebrew and Vita hacks and such, and you REALLY need PSN access for whatever reason, then just update.
But personally for ME, im staying on 3.18 for the time being! If we dont make much progress with Rejuvinate over the next 3 months I will just update to the latest firmware and get back on PSN. I can hold out for a few months with PSN access as I have a PS4 I got recently so, I can have fun on that!
Will it be possible to download PSM+ so we can host it on our own webserver?
