Game Releases For This Month – June 2015
I apologise for the slight delay, as my weekly blog clashed with this one, and although I’m a legend, I can’t do two blogs at once!
We’re seeing a fair few releases this month, the most notable are obviously Batman and ESO, but we are still seeing several Vita releases in the midst, toward the end of the month. I’ve listed them all with an accompanying video, just like last month. Enjoy!
Massive Chalice – Xbox One, PC – June 1
A new DoubleFine game, the guys behind Costume Quest and Brutal Legend, comes an interesting looking tactical strategy fighting game. Take a look at the video!
The Escapists – PS4 – June 2
From developers Team17, the guys behind worms – already released on PC and PS4, your aim is to escape prison in a variety of ways.
Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven – 3DS – June 2
A pretty snazzy looking game, doesn’t tickle my fancy though.
Wander – PS4 – June 4
What do you do in this game then, eh? Well, you can actually take on the form of different creatures, be it a griffin flying around, or an ancient looking sea creature. A very peaceful game.
D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die – PC – June 5
8 months later, it’s made its way onto PC. I’d like to play this game to be fair, as it looks odd but interesting. The cell-shaded artwork looks awesome as well.
The Elder Scrolls Online – Xbox One, PS4 – June 9
Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy – Vita – June 9
A Vita game! This looks somewhat interesting, but not enough to be on my radar, I don’t have any I’m specifically excited for, I’ll keep my eye out though.
Adventures of Pip – PC -June 4 -Wii U – June 6 -US-
This game looks very interesting, a port for PS4 is in the works and I’m sure a release date will be announced for the console soon – It looks like there’s a lot more than at face value with this game.
Lego Jurassic World – Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Wii, 3DS, Vita, PC – June 12
Everyone loves Lego. I might just pick this one up….
Payday 2: Crimewave Edition – Xbox One, PS4 – June 16
Canvaleon – Wii U – June 18
This game looks pretty call, although a platformer, rather than the standard shoot on sight theme, you are a chameleon and it is more a stealth game.
Batman: Arkham Knight – Xbox One, PS4, PC – June 23
I don’t really need to explain this, do I?
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition – Xbox One, PS4, PC – June 23
I’d like to get this game, maybe when it’s cheaper though, as I don’t fancy paying full price for a game I’ve already played.
Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward – PS4, PS3, PC – June 23
For all of those who play this game FF 14, you’re going to have to explain what exactly this game is, and how it ties in to the previous game. As I’m pretty confused to be honest.
Ride – Xbox One, 360, PS4, PS3, PC – June 23
Motorcycles.
FFXIV as you should be aware is a MMORPG. Heavensward is the game’s first expansion.
Anyway great post as usual!
Yeah and Steins;Gate is a visual novel as we’re all aware.
Expansions virtually kill the original games, just as much as sequels do, they should be considered games themselves IMO.
First!!!!!!
What kind of game is DMC? Is it a closed world RPG?
Steins;Gate is coming out in English for PS3/Vita this month – this week for Europe and hopefully before the end of the month in the US, but that’s likely wishful thinking. Given the slow death of the PS3 and general lack of good Vita titles I’m a bit disappointed it’s not getting heavier promotion.
Finally Vita has got some games…I wish if Elder Scrolls Online was for Vita but that’ll probably never happen. Do u think Bethesda will create an Elder Scroll Game for Vita? It would be awesome even if they port Skyrim to Vita. Guess I’ll keep dreaming
Ok… so a few of those look promising. Neptunia rebirth 3 got me… but will wait for the pc version, since vita is to costly.
Yeah, yeah, whatever. Where’s the PSM Exploit?
Toll gemachte Website, das Layout gefaellt mir echt gut!
War sicher ne menge Arbeit.
