Well this week, amongst an awesome giveaway hosted by us, there’s news on the new Ratchet& Clank movie & game, and news on the WoW 100k Banhammer!

This week, we’ve had a nice amount of news, some of which being a fair amount of gameplay of the latest Assassins Creed installment, and 19 screenshots from the PS4 version of Final Fantasy X|X-2 and unfortunately I noticed I missed out PS Trivia last week! This week, I’ll be showing twice the amount, to make up for it!

In the title, I mentioned a new Wipeout game, well  not technically, but it’s extremely similar.

A Kickstarter project, which goes by the name of Formula Fusion, could be coming to the Vita; but unfortunately unless it can raise £350,000 in a matter of 5 days, it doesn’t look like it.

Hopefully, with a slight glimmer of hope Sony will actually pick up on this and push for a Vita version, but I doubt it.

The game does look amazing though, developed by ex-studio Liverpool guys, (the team behind WipEout) the game is dubbed as a spiritual successor to WipEout, it looks almost identical and could be seen as a sequel, just look at the video below.

I don’t have the money to back unfortunately 🙁 But I certainly would If I could.

Although it has reached its funding, I presume that the lack of reaching it’s stretch goals, kind of shows that people aren’t going crazy over it, and there isn’t the demand that was originally there when PS1, PS2 and PS3 were released, and the Vita version was the nail in the coffin for Studio Liverpool.

Ooh, how exciting! Sony has announced their time for their E3 conference, giving us UK residents a reason to stay up late into the night.

I have booked my holiday for this, so I and other guest bloggers will be covering the conferences and everything that slips through the cracks that you may not hear about!

Believe it or not, there will be an Assassins Creed game coming out this year, I reported on it’s announcement last week, and it seemingly has been re-named from Victory too ‘Syndicate’

I do enjoy the AC games, but the last 2 games, Black Flag and Unity, spoiler alert, you aren’t actually an Assassin.

Edward Kenway was never accepted, even though he was referred to as a ‘Master Assassin’ in Unity,  and  Arno Dorian was banished for his lackadaisical non-following of the creed. I can’t remember if he was re-accepted; could a commenter please confirm? I’m pretty sure he wasn’t, however.

This doesn’t really seem like much of an Assassins Creed game either, in the video below you’ll see him high-jacking a horse and carriage… not all sly-like and quick like an assassin, but violently kicking them off the carriage. Yup. Just like an Assassin.

An interesting twist in the game, however, is that there are two protagonists this time, a brother and a sister; Jacob and Evie Frye.

On the flip side of  this madness, in the gameplay video above it seems like Evie Frye is the Assassin, and Jacob is the brute of the duo. So maybe there is a true assassin in this game after all.

Like I said in the beginning, there’s been some good and bad news regarding the Ratchet and Clank Film and Game.

The good news is, that is will feature a star-studded cast, with the addition of the following actors (I was even surprised myself)

• Sylvester Stallone.
• Paul Giamatti
• John Goodman
• Rosario Dawson

The cast will also feature the voices of Ratchet, Clank and Nefarious;  Arnold Taylor, David Kaye and Armin Shimerman respectively.

I guess Stallone is getting pretty desparate though, considering he did an advert in the UK for bread.

Yup.

The bad news? Well that comes in the terms of a delay. The film was supposed to be released later this year, but the film and game have both been pushed back intoApril 29th 2016, not a crazy delay but still rather annoying.

Ryan Schneider had this to say about the delay:

While you might have to wait a bit longer than expected, rest assured we’re using the time wisely to further polish the game to a spit-shine level, with dazzling shader response, awe-inspiring effects, velvety smooth animations, and spectacular new gameplay segments. Really, we can’t wait to show it to you.

Among other PS4 game announced this week, a new game for Project Morpheus was announced. This game is a dinosaur/dragon survival type game, I presume. Something pretty awesome you can do in it however is actually ride dinosaurs. How awesome is that?!?!

The game will launch with 60 different species types, and will feature ‘a fully persistent game world, tens of thousands of AI entities, totally destructible foliage and environment, and multiplayer on a huge scale.’

How awesome.

Don’t worry though, although designed with VR in mind, the game will be playable without it. So it’s not a big deal if you don’t have the Morpheus, as it will be releasing on the Xbox One and other platforms also.

It seems among a GoTY re-release for the game Dishonoured, it’s time to bring this game to next(current)-gen also.

Dishonoured: Definitive Edition has been upped on the Brazilian rating site, take a look at the image below, and click on it to send you to the page:

Unfortunately, the image gives no information about which consoles it will be releasing on, nor does it give us any information on a release date.

I’d guess there’ll be an official announcement at E3, hopefully with a release date too, as scoring for the rating is more toward the last thing developers seem to do when developing a game.

Altough you’ve probably bought this game twice now, why not buy it a third time?

Last week, I told you guys about the Oculus Rift has now been announced for a retail date.

Well, following that they have announced what sort of rig you’d need to run this baby, and it’s not for the laptop users, that’s for sure:

• NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD 290 equivalent or greater
• Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
• 8GB+ RAM
• Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
• 2x USB 3.0 ports
• Windows 7 SP1 or newer

Although this is pretty powerful, I’d bet most people who have their hearts set on it already are either over, or at these benchmarks required.

I certainly would like to have a go on the Oculus, even though I do have my eyes set on the Morpheus.

Something I’d really like to see thoguhg, is for EVERY game to be compatible with the Morpheus, and rather than using it like a VR headset, just a personal cinema, so you’ve got an amazing big *** screen right infront of you with no visual distractinos around you…..

Blizzard, the developers behind WoW, have cracked down on all the bots in the game, and ultimately banned over 100k accounts for automated use, e.g. a bot

I honestly feel like this comes a little bit too late. If there were over 100 thousand accounts on there being run by a bot, how many of these forced forced players to quit and mad the game unplayable, ergo why they’ve lost 3 million subscribers from the begginig of the year (Now down to 7.1)

Better late than never though!
