I tried this when I was on 3.36 (when the latest firmware was 3.50) and it didn’t work.

I don’t take this many steps to connect my Vita through Wifi, this wouldn’t help me anyway. PSV TV doesn’t have USB, and one of my Vitas has a busted USB port that I charge using a modification I made to it.

I use VitaUpdateBlocker, set the proxy on my Vita, then QCMA in offline mode and right firmware selection. After that, all I need to do is restart Vita and connect. Always works, every time on my 3.18

Kinda seems pointless to use a CABLE just to connect WIRELESS

I just have to use cable one time then connect everytime without using Playstation account

i hope abdulec dies a horrible slow painful death. his tutorial was awfull and his votes were rigged. that rat stole my 10$ psn code by cheating

Use the vita blocker 1.2, change the PSV proxy to the address displayed in vita blocker, I really don’t see the difficulty, but with all the cable and airplane mode… this is REAL difficult.

Any ideas on why my PC won’t detect my Vita?

    • Crzo says:

Have you opened QCMA? I say this because that was my first issue xD

CMA opens on the background automatticaly when you turn your PC on, QCMA needs manual opening of the app.

    • Abdulec says:

      Wifi or USB ?

      • Gooder says:

        Both
It’s just my PC though, I can connect my Vita no problem in my parent’s laptop, but for some reason my PC won’t even detect and autoplay the thing.
Specially weird, because it did when I first bought it, after messing around with QCMA and lower firmwares I was never able to do it again.

        • Abdulec says:

try to reinstall QCMA, it may fix your problem or post your problem on QCMA thread in the forum 😉

          • Gooder says:

            Thanks man, will do.
BTW, great tutorial, really cool that you came here to answer people’s questions!

Both my ps vita 3.18 and 3.36 work with qcma via wifi, all I do is start up vita update blocker by skfu and follow the proxy instruction, start qcma and open up content manager via wifi and it will connect.

Is it possible to sync trophies with this?

Is there a way to access the PSN Store via this method? I couldn’t quite comprehend the point of connecting to your PC other than watching videos from it. If I wanted to get a game (say, an old exploit game) from the PSN Store, could I download it to my PC and then transfer it to my Vita this way?

  15. Abdulec says:

I see that many people tried this method and said that it’s not working, you must follow the steps exactly, I can’t confirm that this works on the others Firmwares but it works on the 3.18, I’m sorry if I couldn’t help some of you x(
