Minimur, WTH Happened This Week? Project Cars Download Size on X1, Star Ocean 5 Screens and Playing Bloodborne with a Guitar!
This week there’s actually plenty of news, ranging from our influx to N4G, The Order:1886 photo mode and tech details for project cars!
In addition to the above, we’ve also got GTA V being played on an omni-treadmill with the Oculus along with a funny video of the game and more!
The most important topic of the week though, PS Vita games, I’ve found a total of 0 new games this week.
Updates, however, that is slightly different.
Super Time Force Ultra have announced that there will be a few more Sony exclusive characters in the game, for PS Vita and PS4, they are Sir Galahad from The Order, and also Traveler from Journey, somewhat annoyingly, the video doesn’t mention Vita at all until the very end, yet PS4 throughout the video. Giving it next to no exposure, shame.
This PS4 game that was announced this week really caught my eye, and is an extremely interesting concept, it was announced on the PS Blog and is called ScreenCheat. The screen is set out like a normal split screen game whether you’re playing online or local, and your objective is, just like any other fps game, beat the enemy.
The twist is, however, that your enemies are invisible, meaning you have to ‘screencheat’ to find out where they are and find them looking through their eyes. Take a look at the announcement trailer for PS4 below:
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/04/16/second-person-shooter-screencheat-coming-to-ps4/
Let’s move onto the more important things, now; How a guy beat bloodborne with a Guitar Hero guitar.
With the layout below, the guy managed to complete bloodborne in an impressive 9 hours. I’m way past that and am nowhere near (what it seems) close to the enemies in the video below. 9 hours?!?!

THIS is the definition of insanity.
If you were interested, head here to see his full playthrough.

While we’re on the topic of bloodborne, I’m enlisting as many people’s help as possible to create the ultimate bloodborne Spotify playlist!
If you would be so kind to sound off below as to what you think should be in the ultimate playlist, I’ll add it in!
In the meantime, here’s a nice (horrific) video of me defeating (only just) one of the bloodborne bosses:
In GTA: V’s release to the PC, an editor was also released for the game, a ‘photo mode’ of sorts, and browsing Reddit lately there’s been some quite funny videos pop up, here’s a couple:
With the addition of first person mode, it was obviously given the VR treatment, with it being used in the Virtuix Omni, and the Oculus Rift together and it looks pretty fun. Driving looked a bit strange, however.
I would love to use one of these, it must be such a surreal experience…

Speaking of in-game editors, The Order was updated this week to feature a photo mode, and might I say, it’s incredible. It’s announcement was made on the PS Blog, and featured an introduction video:
Making those de-limbed bodies look even more gruesome.
With the addition of filters to the game, having the ability to change your filter when you can and it’ll affect the rest of the game, is pretty great. A nice black & white filter will fit really well in the game.
Here’s a gif posted to Neogaf showing how beautiful of a world the game has:

As I mentioned last week, Square Enix put up a teaser site for a game, as many guessed correctly it was Star Ocean 5. Following the announcement this week, S.E released some direct feed screenshot, and they do look marvelous.
Unfortunately for non ps4/ps3 owners though, they won’t be getting their hands on this game, being as S.E have announced it as an exclusive for the two platforms. There is an announcement trailer, but I’ll simply link it here being as it’s mostly in japanese and features alot of talking.
I first of all only saw the thumbnail for the article, and after realising the art style will be cartoony, rather than photo-realistic I didn’t think too much of it, but after clicking on the article and looking at the gameplay shots, damn, the environmental design is BEAUTIFUL, and don’t even get me started on the details!
I decided to be naughty and re-upload all of the photos I could find from Dualshockers into an Imgur album, so you can view all 30 images right here, if you’d like to view the album in higher resolution (which I suggest) click the little cog in the top right corner of the picture, and choose ‘open in imgur’
The linked article also includes details about the story, too, but I decided not to include that beings as I have no idea what I’m talking about.
In the introdutcion to this article, I mentioned about Wololo’s influx to N4G, the guest bloggers, myself and wololo ware trying to reach more readers, and will now be submitting our articles on their website, so long as they are in line with the sites rules.
N4G is a brilliant way of reaching more readers and a larger audience; so you’ll be seeing us on there as well now!
In which case, if you browse the site at all in the next few days you may well see this post!

Let’s move on to Project Cars.
Now that it finally has a set release date, May 8th, Slightly Mad Studios (SMS) have announced details of PC requirements, along with the resolution for PS4/Xbone, and download sizes.
Minimum spec:
- CPU: 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400, 3.0 GHz AMD Phenom II X4 940
- Graphics: nVidia GTX 260, ATI Radeon HD 5770
- Memory: 4Gb RAM, 1Gb VRAM
Recommended spec:
- CPU: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7 3700, 4.0 GHz AMD FX-8350
- Graphics: nVidia GT600 series, AMD Radeon HD7000 series
- Memory: 8Gb RAM, 2Gb VRAM
PC resolution is supported up to a whopping 12k, obviously performance at that spec will depend on the power of your PC, but it would certainly be impressive to see this game running at 12k.
PS4 will run at 1080/60, and Xbox One will run at 900p/60fps.
In regards to download sizes, it was recently revealed when the game was put up on the Xbox store that the game download is 18.13GB, 2 years ago me would claim that this is ridiculous, but given how gorgeous this game is, and that it runs at 900p/60fps, I’m quite surprised it’s that small amount. Most games nowadays, are more than this and they look half as good. It’s really surprising, actually.
Here’s the most recent trailer for the game:

You are surprised by this? Racing games use to look better than any other games. That not a unheard concept
What I meant was that I am surprised by how well it looks, yet how small a game it is. it’s only 20gb and it’s the best looking car game out there…
Star Ocean last hope was one of the coolest game i have ever played. if you are a JRPG fan and have not played the game yet, you are missing out biiig time! although SO have been around for some time now ,i only got to play it last year.
the battle system is insane. if you played Tales of Symphonia and liked it, you going to love the one on SO last hope.
i might give another try at the 2 dangeons that open after you beat the game, they are really difficult if you didnt go after the item creations.
just an awesome game JRPG fans should play
How I have waited for this game Star Ocean 5, loved Star Ocean The Last Hope International, my next top games for PS3 are Persona and Star Ocean 5.
Third!!!!
