How to: Obtain the official links for PSN content (games, app …)

Through this tutorial, you will learn how to obtain game or app links directly from SEN or PSN (it works for all games that are located on the Sony store).
You will need:
- .NET Framework 1.1
- CF3B5 Ps3 Proxy + PS3 Proxy Server GUI
- Know the IP of the PC that will serve as proxy (ipconfig / all)
On the PC:
- Start ps3roxy server after install.
- Go to Proxy Settings and in the “IP Address” space, put your IP that you retrieved with the command “ipconfig / all” (using cmd).
- Check that the ps3 mode box is checked and press start.
Now visit the log tab.

On the PS3:
- Go to adjustment networks
- In internet connections settings, use a manual setting of parameters, until your get to the proxy.
- In the proxy settings, you have to put your IP address of the PC that will be used as a bridge (the same IP that information that you putted in the “IP Address” field before, but don’t change the port).
- Save your changes and test your connection, if everything is fine then you can continue.
- When you’re surfing the PSN Store, you will find the links in the log tab of the ps3 proxy server on your PC.
You can now use these links to download the content to your PC.

Any chance it works on vita??
I don’t know about this method, but you should be able to get urls from your vita by setting up an ad-hoc network, connecting the system to it, and then monitor the packets through a program like wireshark while you browse the store.
yes, its working on vita (I’ve already tested it), just put it in PSP mode instead of PS3 mode in the CF3B5 Ps3 Proxy program
Is it because of Sony’s Zeus server, that holds these Game files.
@rayan: this works in Vita, i have downloaded my games on to PC first and then send them to Vita. But you have to set the mode to PSP for vita
oh this.. i thought it was tutorial to directly grab direct link from web store.. SKFU’s proxy app could do the same BTW.

Top Kek, you need to have bought the game for it to let you play, you need the license, which you can get only buy paying for the game on the PSN store. If you can afford the console, you should be able to afford the games

Well there is a way to download the game using PC and then transfer it to the PS3 idk about ps4 or the vita…and im too lazy to look it up, but i know its out there

So what does this mean? What is the benefit of doing all these steps?
You can get .pkg files way faster than usual (by using multi-segmented downloaders) and redirect your PS3 to get them from your PC at LAN speeds instead of slow downloads from Sony servers.
It’s also possible to extract .pkg files and inspect their content (PS3 only!), such as game manuals, video files, artwork and such.
It’s mostly useful for CFW users (which can directly install these .pkg files), which can often generate a fake license file for downloaded content.
OFW users can inject downloaded .pkg files into PS3 HDD backups and transfer them to PS3, but since they can’t use fake licenses for this content, only the content which does not require device-bound licenses works this way. Some demos injected (and installed) this way can be unlocked to full games, so the next firmware update will most likely block this ‘feature’ for OFW users.
Wait, “PS3 only” was supposed to mean that Vita and PS4 .pkg’s cannot be extracted – .pkg files with PSX, PS2, PSP and PS3 content can be extracted and used on emulators (where applicable) or wherever.
I use Charles to do this for the Vita as it is faster to download to my Mac first then let the Vita download from my Mac. The Vita’s WiFi for some reason is so slow to download it from Sony’s network.

Yes, you can. The game won’t work without the license file, and you can’t get your Vita-specific license file without connecting it to Sony servers, that’s why Vita on old firmware needs PS3 that is able to connect to PSN to get the license while Vita is connected to said PS3.

then ur vita must allready been activated for the exploit game u bought before.
but then u could just download it from ur downloadlist
if u fool the vita and the store via proxy that its the latest xml.
