Thats plain stupid… androids can stream ps4 games… but w.e

And yet the lag is as bad as simply facetiming the device.

Have you tried it? Remote play has no noticable lag, so if you are playing some racing games or whatever doesn’t rely on single frames (like fighters or some shooters) it’s just like having native PS4 games on your Vita/Android.

        • The Z says:

Streaming from PS4 to Vita has noticeable lag.

Even streaming PS4 to PSV TV has lag.

I doubt that a *** phone will have better performance than the Vitas.

I’ve never noticed any lag remote playing on my android phone. You don’t even own an android device, so what would you know, the z?

I can’t say that your logic to come to that conclusion is silly, but you’re just assuming in the end. These guys actually have tried it with their “mediocre” phones, and say that it doesn’t have any noticeable lag. If you don’t own an Android and have never tried it yourself, then you word isn’t worth as much as theirs.

You are clearly doing stuff wrong then~

In a way similar to this I’m trying to use the mp4 remote function on the ps vita to stream content from my pc to the vita.
Since the mp4 remote for movie and video work well, I’m trying to create a stream of my desktop in mp4 format as a file. Then the PSVITA connected with wifi at the same PC will start to remote play my desktop.

Unfortunately I’m still trying to find a software to create the MP4 stream. Tried with VLC but no luck.
Any idea? or do you know if someone is trying the same thing?

I said it a few days ago on the PS4 community and I’ll say it again. If you can play games in the bath with a reasonable amount of concentration. You aren’t bathing, you’re sitting in water playing video games.

you can also use an Mac, iPad, and iPod or iPhone and create a streaming rig for 3DS or even a PSVita (this is ghetto though like this remote play but anyways).
