Instructions unclear, attempting to redownload Patapon 2 from my Gamecube.

    • The Z says:

Reinsert the DreamCast cartridge and then reboot your GBA.

      Should fix it.

      • gamr13 says:

Perhaps try re-installing Windows 8.1 on your NES.

      • Thrawn says:

Maybe he should first try and find the Ethernet port on the gamecube *giggle*

        • Tail870 says:

          Or PS/2 port…)

          • oniclan says:

Or even a usb port :))

            aaaaaaeeeeeeeee………..
5gbps lan port and hdmi port!!!!!
how bout direct nintendo ds to vita cable….ds crossplay with vita in 4k ultra hd!

          • Fallenleader says:

Nonono, you got it all wrong. first you install android on your ness, then install windows 10 inside android. then you take your firewire cable, connect it to your mac running linux, push it through to your modded wii, and than you reset your AGB2GC controller. from there you wirelessly transfer it from the AGB to your 3ds, and after installing it as a CIA file, you proceed to finally download it to your vita that has been exploited using VitaPWN. VitaPWN does all the heavy lifting, attacking the bootstrapper to run a custom Atari kernel bypassing all security. if all works, you should be able to exploit your vita’s PSP mode.

      • kideo hojima says:

works perfect in a psx ( ps1 , ps one ) 🙂 , just a psx and flux capacitor is needed.
        Thank You.

      • dragng8 says:

Z you got that wrong… You have to eject the Dreamcast cartridge using the 6 axis dualshock controller. Then reboot GBA. Sign in, then press the power button.

      • zorak_torok says:

To clarify this, you must rip the music, textures and texts from a dreamcast iso and inject the exploited game into the boot parameters of used dc game. Place this much smaller iso onto a Pal memory card (one with the blue spiral) and place that into a ntsc (red spiral) controler. Use the 100meter supplied telephone cable to use the 56k modem to dial a bbs at 1-606-439-1882 . After logging in, transfer your savefile to be translated to ascii coding. You personalized file will be made and avaliable via ftp server. Re-route all incoming data to be forwarded to your psvita befor downloading and your good to go…. that was fun.

Help. I tried to backup Patapon 2 my gaecube! NOW WJHAT?

  6. Meep Moop says:

Transferring games with my Atari 2600 works just fine.

  7. Crzo says:

I made a whole memory card back up then deleted patapon 2…. since then I have made many changes like installing ARK 2 and many other things but I want a “game only” back up.

Is there any risk if from exploit disabling if I: make a 2.0 memory back up > restore original memory back up > back up game only > restore 2.0 mem? Such a noob :/

I was wondering how I can copy the game onto my ps vita that is on firmware 3.15? I tried the OpenCMA trick (connect to pc -> disconnect -> connect to ps3), but it says to update the ps vita (on pc/ps3)

  10. chan says:

    THE Z, give us TN-V!!! Please !!!

    Thanks

  11. Redblade67 says:

Damn where is total noob when you need him. we need TN-V but im patient because Z and Razor made ark2,

  12. Vitastealery says:

So how do we get this game illegally or free?

    • NoPatience says:

Cheapos and Stealos are banned here………i think.
all good things come for a price.

    • Fallenleader says:

GLWT. Being real, I actually looked into that when I missed the 3.20 exploit out of sheer desperation (had the cash, but game was pulled). Without any details, correct me if i am wrong, but there is currently no meathod to pirate vita games. PSP mode or not, these exploitable games are still obtained in the same manor as PSV games, and are also not pirateable. Just save up some cash, grab a $20 PSN card from your local reseller or amazon, and hang onto the cash for the next exploit. I was FINALLY able to get an exploit thanks to qwikrazor87’s numblast finding. had the cash thanks to a $3 psn code from game stop power up rewards, and literally have $0.01 left over in my wallet XD

    • The Z says:

      You dont. Kill yourself.

  13. Gaiden says:

If you really want to get it illegally or free, just use a stolen credit card or chargeback after you bought it heh

  14. wilfredo says:

I wish installing these exploits as easy as it was on psp. too hard to install bubbles. (now i know someone is going to start crying about how if im too lazy i dont deserve blah blah blah)

    • NoPatience says:

      what do u expect……
come sugarpie eat some chocolate, while i do ur laundry, ur just 22yrs old, momas lil boy??!! X0

    • Fallenleader says:

Bubbles take some work, but they are actually VERY easy to do. VitaFTP and WinSCP are your friends as you can live edit the Vita stuff directly. I don’t advise transferring multiple huge games all at once though. Transferred my 2 favorites and waited an hour and a half through FTP.

  15. nebu_187 says:

the Blu ray reader in my gamecube causes my game to glitch when transferred trough FTP on my Mastersystems harddrive, however overclocking the SNES cpu when holding my gameboy’s backpanel touchscreen will not trigger the exploit on the memory card for my PS3.

  16. alpmaster says:

The only thing i am confused about is if i have Go!Sudoku Gladiator Begins and Skate Park City and Space Invaders Extreme am i able to use my custom bubbles on a new 3.36 vita with same account of course? Meaning i would have TN-V or only be able to use Ark 2-ECFW?

  17. Hardin says:

Many of you skipped over “…most of you should know the Hatsune Miku games” not realizing that it was comedic gold.

  18. jv says:

I downloaded ARK files from wololo.net but the package dosen’t has Numblast files

  19. Tony says:

Okay noob here but need some instructions on backing up Patapon 2 with CMA. I connect the ps vita to my computer. Then go into CMA. Select vita to my computer. Then click backup choice?

    • alpmaster says:

What you would want to do is go to psvita to PC then psp game and press copy and it will copy to the PC.

      • Crzo says:

I made a whole memory card back up then deleted patapon 2…. since then I have made many changes like installing ARK 2 and many other things but I want a “game only” back up.

  20. hrosales says:

WOW…you won’t believe it, but you can even download the game to your ABACO and then transfer to you PS Vita via Parallel adapter…just Amazing!!!

  21. HAAAALP!!! says:

I transferred the exploit backup to Ralph Baer’s Brown Box and now I can’t find them! I don’t see any type of port to connect the console to my computer! Is there anybody with a brown box that can help me?!

  22. alpmaster says:

Personally i always back it up on a flashdrive =D

  23. Jaywoo7 says:

So your telling me I cant download the exploit game onto my toaster? 🙁
    Though it magically worked there.

  25. Vitadownloader says:

Does this mean we can pirate vita games now? This is great news!

  26. niksko12 says:

Nice and all but, do we have any news regarding the native vita hack?

  27. Ethan says:

I dont know why but patapon 2 still comes up on my download list :p

    • Crzo says:

I just redownloaded it today directly from my vita… US right, it seems we can still access it if we bought it on time.

  28. Edu says:

I had just bought the game but then I decided to download and send me a message with an error related that numblast was removed, I hate you Sony, with all my hate, could you please find another exploit but that could be cheap for not only me also for anyone that couldnt buy the game.

  29. Edu says:

A posiblity could be that the people who bought the game can manage to upload in a server(the files related with the game)for people who couldnt buy it, well my case is different because I buy it but i couldnt download it

  30. Adam says:

Is the exploit capable with Numblast OR Patapon 2, or you must have Patapon 2 to use Numblast?

  31. deckardbr says:

Great article. I need to turn off the firmware download in Settings. Mine downloads and I just select don’t install. I don’t think Sony can automatically ever update your vita but you never know. Also if you use an FTP program to transfer roms or games via TN-V remember to turn off wireless after doing so.
