So we’ve actually got a few games this week, 3 infact, one is out already but I’ve never actually heard of it before so I decided to involve it here:

Rock Boshers DX – Out Now (PS4, PS Vita – Cross buy/save)

Quote from the anouncement article:

A young Queen Victoria, bored and looking for adventure, dresses up incognito and sneaks onto a transport shell headed to Mars.

But oh no! Upon landing, all the travellers are rounded up and put to work deep underground in the Martian mines.

Why? How? Who is behind this dastardly plot?

Victoria must battle her way across Mars, and attempt to find a way home whilst collecting special food items as she goes.

 

I must say it looks okay, but I won’t be picking it up being as it doesn’t catch my interest enough.

Krinkle Krusher – Feburary 2015 (PS4, PS3, PS Vita) No news on whether it’s cross buy or not

This game looks pretty cool,  it’s kind of a new take on castle defence – you need to protect your castle from ‘Krinkles’

You can use different spells, manipulate the ground, and tornados and such, I think I’ve actually sold this game to myself!

Banner Saga – ‘in 2015’ (PS Vita PS4)

A user asks if they are bringing Banner Saga 1 & 2 to the PS4 and Vita, to which the developer replies:

First and foremost – we’re concentrating on getting The Banner Saga out on PS4 and Vita in 2015 –

then we’ll tackle the next thing as it comes up!

If you really can’t wait, the game is about on everything other than the consoles, iOS, Android, OS X, Windows – But I think these sorts of games are best played on a console.

For those of you who haven’t seen this game before, maybe this quote from the article can help you:

If you followed the PS Experience you might have found out that PS have released PS4 faceplates in the style of Little Big Planet 3 and The Order : 1886, I like the design of them but I find that they are a bit extravagant and obvious, unlike the Japanese ones being released which were minimalistic and stylish

Don’t get be wrong, they’re nice, but a bit too obvious for my liking, however, if you still want them they’re still available: Little Big Planet 3     The Order: 1886

Moving onto an alternative….. Although it isn’t officially licensed and all that jazz, they do look pretty awesome and remind me of the original PlayStation controllers that were see through.

So the long awaited (by about 8 years) Final Fantasy 15 will finally have a playable demo……On the disc for Final Fantasy Type-0

The reasoning behind this?

Well:

It’s intended to be a special gift for those of you who purchase early,

I’m pretty certain that Square Enix have it in for Sony, with them pairing with Microsoft for the next Tomb Raider, to them not bringing the FF7 Hd Remaster and just a port, and not having Type-0 as a Vita game, which every Vita owner pretty much wants

 

For those curious, Type-0 will be released in US on March 17th, will you be picking it up?

As I was saying, this little snippet is about Square Enix and Microsoft – it has been announced that Microsoft will be publishing Rise of the Tomb Raider. Now don’t jump to conclusions and think that it’s fully exclusive like I did, because it’s not, it still has a duration, how long that is isn’t known, but it’ll be released in ‘holiday 2015’

Oooh, Okay, maybe Square are doing some pretty cool stuff. This week they announced that they will be bringing Final Fantasy 10|10-2 to the Ps4, it surprises me they didn’t announce it at the PS Experience, a double whammy of FF7 and this, it certainly would’ve taken the sting off.

SE have announced a price for the game,and a release window of Spring 2015, the price will be £32.99 and for the FF7 port, £13

Here’s the strange story for the week, Microsoft have made the transition to virtual currency, and are now accepting Bitcoin transactions on their US store.

It hasn’t been made known if it’ll be coming to the UK store anytime known
