8 New Vita Games
The Vita actually got a little love today with some new games:
- Suikoden I and II
- Towerfall Ascension [Trailer]
- Super Time Force Ultra [Trailer]
- The Banner Saga [Trailer]
- Resident Evil Revelations 2
- Severed [Trailer]
Sadly, PSVita isn’t getting enough love from Sony 🙁 I really enjoy my Vita, but I stopped playing it since I completed all the games and it’s boring to finish a game more than twice (the 2nd time is to enhance your technique ;D )
Also, I would really enjoy something like “PS4 owners will get backwards support for PSOne CDs” or something like that, the PS4 is fully capable and I don’t like the idea on spending money on virtual ownerships. Who knows, maybe one day Sony will go bankrupt and we won’t be able to retrieve our once purchased digital copies on time 🙁
Sony should buy/make PSone Emulators for the PC and add advertisements & gain extra cash from that, to be honest.
I feel like they won’t add CD emulation for the PS4 though, it will be the same ol’ PSone Classics, (with Cross Buy to make it seem special).
Once the PS4 gets hacked, PSone Emulation will (hopefully) definitely get some love.
The Ps4 is getting some really good games. The best thing about it is…FIRST.
And Dungeon Defenders 2 for all 3 PS consoles as well. 🙂
2nd
Also, I think “Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes” is one title. That’s its whole name.
Thanks guys, I had no idea about the free EA games. I nabbed nfs:mw for the vita 8^)
“Final Fantasy 7- Coming to PS4. Its just a port. Nothing changed. Up-scaled graphics. Why is Sony doing this? I couldn’t tell you.”
Blame Square-Enix, not Sony. They have pretty much said they would never actually remake FF7 because they don’t want to disappoint the fans.
I’m pretty pumped about some of the other announcements, though.
I think people would ultimately be okay with a FF7 remake, it’s just basically guaranteed that it couldn’t live up to expectations. There is also an enormous chance that they will add in references to more recent games set in the FF7 universe, and a lot of people don’t like those games nearly as much and don’t want FF7 cluttered with stuff like Genesis or Deepground. (it wouldn’t bother me too much, but I’m sure some people would be upset by it since they view FF7 through rose-tinted glasses and would see any unnecessary additions as harming the cohesiveness of the final game)
if you want to grab the three free EA games but aren’t around your system (or don’t own the system yet) you can still get them by logging into the playstation store through a web browser
just thought someone might find that useful
Omg did I read correctly? Suikoden II for the Vita? If you’re a fan at all of the series you should definitely give this one a play. Widely considered to be the best game of the series and I agree. I’ve been trying to import this game for longer than I can remember lol.
i´m relieved that they will bring just a port to the ps4 of ff vii… as long as it will look better than the psone classic on the big screen (and the price will be ok) i think it´s a good decision. knowing se they would just screw the remake up.. and i like ff VII the way it is ^^
you forgot one game at least: DAY OF THE TENTACLE ! for vita (and ps4?) 😀
Resident evil revelations 2 vita confirmed!!!!!!!!
Meh, thats not a list of games for the Vita, thats a list of remakes that are nice but are only minimally entertaining. I wish they had listed off something actually NEW, not more remakes and ports.
Well…
There are enough VITA game in Japan, but they aren’t going to be localized.
(Sorry for my poor English.)
i need news about Persona 5… 🙁
