  6. FreeMyVita says:

with a native p s vita exploit couldn’t homebrew developers make their own smash brothers for the Vita with all the characters they wanted?

    • Tony says:

Yeah, we’ll get Smash Bros on the vita eventually… Through native hack and emulation.

      • lmao says:

definitely, 3ds is weak as *** (LMAO that 4.6 GFlops, Vita is 51 GFlops)

Hahaha… 51 Gflops, my friend, pls forget the vita as you only seem to care about calculation power.
Here have a look at the NVidia shield tablet which boast a tegra k1 cpu clocked at 2.2 Ghz and brings up to 326 Gflops, now what about the vita? That’s almost 6.4 times the power of a vita and it only sets you back 300$ bucks including tax and shipping 🙂 and it even has a gamepad, boasts a mini hdmi out, has a display resolution of 1920×1200 which is slightly over “full HD” and you can upgrade it to 128 GB memory via a micro SD card (goodbye proprietary memory).
So who needs a vita? What is a vita anyway?

          • CycloneFox says:

The Shield would be great for gaming, if it ran Windows. But if there is only Android, I would never spend 300$ to play short games with short development times. I don’t assume every game on Google Play is a mini-game. But the more elaborate titles, which you could compare to a console-level game as the ones 3DS and Vita has, are either very short and thus nothing more than demos, or look really bad compared to the ones on dedicated handhelds or they are available on a handheld anyway. Further more you can’t even play a lot of them with a controller, anyway.
If people flame the PS Vita for having “no games” (which are still 750 Vita games plus PSOne games plus PSP games), this solution really has no games at all.

          • Thrawn says:

Hahaha cyclonefox you’re my hero 😉

Actually every word you say is true, I just wanted that Gflop power loving junkie up ahead give something to chew on heheh 🙂

Well, a popular system does not equal a powerful system, this has been proven over and over and over again.

Well the 3ds is so BAAAAD, it just outsold the vita over 5 times… really a bad system… ^^
Oh and btw. the vitas most sold game is uncharted which app. sold 1.24 million copies, the 3ds most popular game sold 1.4 times more copies than there have been vitas sold.
Now the new 3ds has been released in Nippon, I guess it will gain even more momentum now.
