The most popular Nes Emulator on the PSP/Vita

9. 6.20 ME

The “Minimum Edition” CFW by neur0n is an alternate Custom Firmware for those who want to stay up to date on a hackable motherboard (PSP 1000/2000) and don’t want to use Pro CFW or TN Hen. It gained renewed attention recently when an update was released for firmware 6.20
Choose your version (ME or LME) based on the chart below (courtesy of The_Zett):

6.60 ME for firmware 6.60 can be found here
6.20 ME can be downloaded here
8. ARK
ARK is a PSP Emulator Custom Firmware for your Vita. It supports most PSP Homebrews, plugins, and backups, as well as PS1 games
Features:
> PSX game support (soundless so far, our sound plugin is too glitchy for public use at the moment)
> ISO/CSO game support
> NoDRM Engine for decrypted dlc playback
> MS-SpeedBoost (most noticable on games like soul calibur)
> Stargate Game Patches (fixes several anti-cfw games)
> Customizable Main Menu
> Plugin support
> Recovery support
> ISO-cache support (speed up ISO gaming)
… and much more!

PSP Filer has existed for as long as the PSP scene was around, but is an all time favorite of the community

2. G.D.P.
Sometimes a homebrew will leave you speechless. If on top of that, I tell you this is entirely done in LUA, this makes me ask what cannot be done with this language nowadays…
Let’s sum this up: multithreading, original music, cellshaders・a game packed with action, but as DeViaNTe, the author of this genesis entry, says, a video describes it more.
1. 138Menu

The most popular menu for Vita homebrew loaders and Homebrew enablers is back with a recent update.
– Compatible with VHBL and CEF (ARK/TNV)
– Multi-language English, Spanish, German, French, Turkish, Polish, Italian
– Various settings
. Loading/Showing games/installers icon
. Listing games from a custom path and/or PSP/GAME/
. Uses FBOOT.PBP, VBOOT.PBP, wmenu.bin, EBOOT.PBP (only for CEF) and/or a custom app name
138Menu can be downloaded here
New homebrew of the month
Not a PSP or Vita tool, but actually a windows tool, this month’s feature entry is RPCS3. The PS3 emulator for windows keeps improving, and was recently upgraded to run commercial games.

RPCS3 can be downloaded here

I love piracy
I so want ARK for 3.15. Or maybe Total_Noob will port TN to a 3.15 exploit. Surely between Acid_Snake, Total_Noob and Qwikrazor we’ll see some action soon for 3.15
Why would we work on ARK if we weren’t planning a new kxploit?
The problem is waiting for a worthwhile firmware update and that seems to never come.
Wagic didn’t make it wow D:
We should like find 500000 exploits
and put them 1 by 1
and patch till we get to version 500.9302
I have been playing Gameboy rom in my browser here http://games.wontek.com/gb/Javascript-GameBoy-Emulator.html now my question is, these game work on my Vita too, is there any way for the keys on the vita to be used in the browser for html5 emulation etc..?
i will like wonder if rpcs3 will ever emulate flash
then i would have a dlna dtcp-ip mediaplayer for pc lol
i would like start developing a menu like windows menu but for psp
one thats installer/uninstaller and launcher
and is a prx that loads by renaming vshmain.prx to bogus.prx and visa versa
and just sits ontop of the wave
Getting a freeze then error when starting a new game in PSPokemon Grey.. Using TN-V8
I remember playing the poke hombrew and let’s just say it didn’t have a professional feel to it…
