E3 Starts in 2 days. Sony’s E3 2014 App Live on PS4, comes with many perks
E3. The biggest event in gaming is right around the corner, and this year Sony has made it easier than ever to get in on their action without having to be there. The PlayStation Network recently launched the PS@E3 app for the PS4 to stream Sony’s press conference right to your television, but that’s not all. The App does a whole lot more, including giving away codes for the PS Now beta. (Unfortunately this app is only available to people with a US PSN account.)
If you are lucky enough to have a US account and haven’t received a PS now beta code, Sony will be giving out 6,000 invites per day starting on June 10, at noon PDT. No word from Sony what time the second or third round of codes will be going out, but we’ll let you know if and when Sony announces the times.
The PS@E3 app also allows you to rack up 250 Sony Rewards points for unlocking content which isn’t a bad deal if you already have your PSN account linked to your Sony Rewards account. Personally I’ve scored 3 $20 PSN cards since I’ve enrolled in the program, and if you are going to be making a bunch of digital purchases from PSN, may as well get some PSN money back. (Note from Wololo: Sony Rewards is only available to US residents for now)
If you happen to be an Amazon shopper, PS@E3 also gives you a free 30 day Amazon Prime membership too. Even if you aren’t interested in the free shipping aspect of Prime. you can utilize the Netflixesque Amazon Instant Video and watch some free movies for a month. Not a bad deal just for watching Sony’s E3 conference on your PS4. You can also get a Music Unlimited 30 day trial, but I think we all have plenty of unused codes for that service lying around.

In addition to the perks listed above and being able to watch the press conference, the PS@E3 app will also let you watch trailers and gameplay of some 70+ new and unannounced games, check out news on services such PS Now and the PS+ program, and get a taste of the Road to Greatness tour. Sony has also promised that the PS@E3 app will allow you to preorder games directly from the app (this sounds dangerous for our wallet!) and it wouldn’t surprise me if Sony had a few other unannounced surprises up their sleeves for those watching E3 on their PS4
All in all, if you want to check out what PlayStation has in store E3 this year (and seriously, who doesn’t) and you own a PS4 with a US account, the PS@E3 app seems like the only way to go. For those that want to stream the press conference to the computer, you can do so from the PlayStation blog. The excitement starts on June 9th at 5:45 PDT or 0145 GMT 10/06/2014.

Will you be watching E3 this year? Will it be on the PS4?
The PS4 E3 app is available for download directly from your PS4.

*PS VITA HACK*
dear wololo,
Why not to just hack ps vita with old game hack but the vita!! Then find exploit kernel inside the vita os!!!! And then the cow will be ok and the kugras fune. Ok???????
Shut up, dumbo…”Why not to just hack ps vita” by yourself if you think this is that easy to do ?
ivo you are an idiot. keep stupid comments to yourself as you are NOT a dev and have no fkcun clue what you are talking about
try read a bit, you’re too dumb and i can read your pattern, pirate!!!
ivo, just shut the fu[k up already. Give it up.
I think i can understand what hes asking. Hes asking why dont u find gamekeys of ps vita games(like u did with the psp) then decrypt ps vita game’s save data and exploit PS VITA GAMES? U might even trigger some kernel exploits inside the vita os 😉
1. You can’t just find the savegame keys
2. You’d still need a debugger if Sony were dumb enough to let 1. happen
3. The PSV has ASLR and NX which make PSP style buffer overflows useless
4. Kernel exploits are separate from user mode exploits (even on the PSP)
5. Kernel exploits aren’t just ‘triggered’, the vulnerability needs to be identified, understood and exploited.
> U might even trigger some kernel exploits inside the vita os
These things doesn’t happen accidentally and clearly you don’t even understand the concept of exploit. Exploit is not goal, it’s just a means to achieve the goal (running unsigned code). keep on dreaming, n00b!!
at E3 they’ll probably announce games coming and then the games will be delayed 😀 i’m sorry for the poor folks who got duped into buying ps4 on launch then having their ps4 stuck in the closet gathering dust. i think $ony did it on purpose knowing well before launch that the games can’t make it in 2014 (i’ve been wanting to get the order 1868 or $ony releases new ps4 colors/skin but until then, they can’t fool me into buying ps4)
Now seriously, why did they make it at the same time with the FIFA world cup? I’m gonna watch the world cup instead.
I will be watching Sony E3 conference!!!
Uhhh doesn’t e3 start tomorrow morning o.o???
