A few hours ago, the Twitter account of Playstation told us that there will be the PS4 firmware 1.71 pretty soon, which will improve the system stability…

Said new PS4 firmware is now available for download, and it seems that the new firmware 1.71 is mandatory for accessing the PSN store and other online functions.
It is currently not known, if this new firmware will be bundled with a new PS Vita firmware, e.g. 3.16, which could fix the recent exploits for MyStylist and the Pawa Puro Ketteiban game, which are only available via the Japanese PSN store.

This is excellent news. Stability is such an important and ever so hard thing to get right even after so many previous attempts so we should be very excited. Yay for stability!!!!!

What???? Hackproofing? No way. It can’t be that. They sell unstable products out of the box by their own admission. So much so that they need to fix them every 3 weeks or so.
Every mayor software product has stability issues, even if minor, so stick your blind fanboyism where the sun doesn’t shine.

If that reply was meant for me, I was joking about the frequency of required updates and it is not faboyism to say they have been far to often. Even though I do own all the systems from over the years, if I were to be a fanboy, it would be $ony that is my personal overall favorite systems. I just think you misunderstood my poking fun at the systems that I love.
