Othing agaist you minimur but I find this story hard to believe. Especially the last part about Microsoft’s reaction. I am not saying you are lying, most definitely not, but I do wonder which PlayStation rep carries around vouchers for free PS4s

I guess I am just a cynical guy, either way I am bloody jealous I havent received a free PS4 yet 😉

But Sony suing people stealing games from them tells us Sony is pure evil…

That’s that makes any other company different from Microsoft.

Microsoft don’t want to change, his strategies and, to be honest, they always wanted costumers, who adapt to their concept. Any other company tries to adapt to their costumers. That’s also the reason why Windows is unstable, even after decents of development.

Programmers, who have no idea of concept and design, designer, who have no idea from the matter of Programming.
Manager who never heared the word Geek or Nerd.

    Poor Microsoft.

This smells like a publicity stunt tbh.

  10. Vitality says:

Be right back, gonna go hit my legs with a lead pipe and ended up on a wheelchair, then come to any Sony events or Sony Centre to try out PS4 and hopefully I will get free PS4 once it’s released.

Nah, just kidding, but awesome story for the disabled gamers.

“took their contact information with a promise for free PlayStation 4 units on release day.”

    This article really needs editing.

“Is the Sydney Showground and the EB EXPO wheel chair accessible?
-The SSG is a fully wheel chair accessible venue with lifts servicing both the car park and the first floor.
-Some small aspects of the EB EXPO inside the exhibition halls will not be wheel chair accessible.
-Some Vendor partners have expressed interest in expanding their exhibition spaces into a second story. The second story of these spaces will only be accessible via stairs and thus are not accessible by a wheel chair.
-Wheel Chair seating has been accommodated for inside EB Arena offering a full uninterrupted view of both the stage and the screens.”

So this kinda re-enforces another posters post that Wololo? commented on above^, “greedy”. But who knows if they released this info before the event took place. If they announced before hand, than it’s kinda a different story.
Bottom line, people do get *** about things and over react affecting everyone else over their own issues. It sucks but what’s worse is the waste of time and $$$ spent in the court room through lawsuits that happens all time because of such things.

True or not, Sony is just making the best of the situation to look good. God knows that won’t hurt them…
It’s like any company that participates in good causes. They don’t do it out of pure kindness, they know it’s good publicity. People associate the company image with a positive thing, more likely to like the company and thus, more likely to buy their product.
Sorry to be cynical, that’s just the truth.
(I’m not saying people can’t do things out of pure kindness, I actually do believe in that. Just not companies. It was probably a no brainer for the Sony’s rep.)
