Battlefield 3, Sims 3, Dead Space 3 and many more… for only 5$!
Yes, you read the title right. This is this week’s Humble Bundle! Awesome isn’t it? Thanks to EA Sports, we can have these games for the very low price of just 5$.
Come on, you pay five bucks to buy a magazine and a coffee. Wouldn’t it be better to get the Battlefield 3 Steam key to download it directly to your computer? Or the last Sims on PC, Sims 3 + the DLC? Those are the best ones, but there are many more, just keep reading!
In this awesome pack, there are games like Dead Space 1 & 3, Crysis 2, Medal of Honor… outstanding games, aren’t they? Well, you will get their respective Steam or Origin keys for 1$ with the following games:
- Dead Space
- Dead Space 3
- Mirror’s Edge
- Medal of Honor
- Crysis 2: Maximum Edition
- Burnout Paradise
If you pay under 1$ you (only) get the Battlefield 3 and the Sims 3 soundtrack, but any price above that gets you all the games above.
And next, the best offer, if you pay more than the average price (which is 4.82$ right now) you get all of those games I mentioned before, plus the soundtracks, plus the Sims 3 + DLC and Battlefield 3. Great, right?
What do you have to do? Go to the humble bundle website and pay with PayPal!
Good playing gamers!
I thought it was the Humble Indie Bundle?!? Deep Silver last week was really pushing it, and now EA?!?!
I should clarify I’m not complaining, this is a good deal, but its kind of gone off the rails here lately.
Yeah, I kind of agree, they’re going far away from their roots on this one… the initial purpose was to support indie devs, DRM free content…
No, Humble Indie Bundle is a separate thing. This week you have a selection of indie games (“Thomas was alone” among others) from PewDiePie in it.
For some time now they have been having two bundles running at the same time.
And anyway, I think their goal was more of helping charities than the developers.
Exactly. Helping charities is one of the big things about the humble bundles (thus the humble part).
Granted, that isn’t the only thing. It is also about getting your game out their to a wider audience. Now this really helps indy games for sure, but it also lets “AAA” games be played by more people. Take Dead Space for instance. A cool enough game, but I never would have played it except for it being in a HB. I am not big into horror games, but I am glad to play it now that I have as it does have a pretty good story.
Then there is the multi system support. This bundle has gotten the linux community in a huff as it is just a big FU to them. The HB is getting further away from the cross compatibility roots. Personally, as a linux user, I don’t think this matters much. Some games just don’t support Linux, and cannot. I don’t fault them for adding them to a bundle.
I want to see that “Battlefield 3 Steam key” 😀
Well, I don’t know if your aware but BF3 isn’t even on steam and I doubt its ever going to be xD
not unless Origin goes down but I think their games are too popular for that
Great buy! I already had BF3 and don’t give a *** about the Dims, so just when with the $1.01 deal 😀
Don’t forget that EA donated the games. All money is going to charities! I do agree that the humble bundle is straying from it’s roots though :/ but as long as these massive companies don’t actually earn money from it, I’m fine with there being non indie humble bundles.
Also it’s pay what you want, not necessary just $5, that’s just the minimum to get everything. I tend to at least double the average.
They would’ve helped charity a lot better if they’ve also done this deal on xbox and PS3. Why only the PC, anyway? They know they did some crappy things to it or somethin?
It’s alright to do it with PC because a LOT of people already pirate these games so im guessing their way of thinking would probably be “instead of getting those games for completely free, we might as well charge them at least a dollar” but with consoles if the humble bundle went to the platform where the companies make most of their money, they would probably lose a lot of revenue.
Don’t forget they’ll be adding mid week bonuses including MoH: Airborne, Dead Space 2, and Bulletstorm.
You know this how?
Granted, I believe they are going to add Dead Space 2 as well, but where did you come up with MoH: Airborne and Bulletstorm?
Why’d it be thanks to EA Sports? There are no sports game in that bundle…
And that is exactly why we should thanks EA Sports
Haha yeah, probably 🙂
