    Looks Cool…..

  3. Kornik755 says:

They are going to make so much 180’s, that when you sum then, you’ll have 720

    • Minimur12 says:

I said that in the article:
On the announcement of this, I read a comment that the console should be called

      ‘Xbox 720′

      Why?

      DRM 180
      Self-publishing 180
      Headset 180
      Kinect 180

      😀

  4. Partner21 says:

All this back peddling shows how inept these guys are at the Xbox division.

Here’s a another 180: Microsoft recently stated that they’ll only be launching the Xbone in 13 markets instead of the original 21 as they had stated before (at E3). The rest of the markets/countries will be getting the system in 2014. Source:http://news.xbox.com/2013/08/xbox-one-confirmed-markets

Good old Moneysoft. I sold my xbox 360 gear long ago and opted for a PS3. Moneysoft are all about nickel and dimeing people. Playing for Xbox live was a rip off. I know PS4 will require this to play online but at least you will get some free games. I am not a fan of paying to play online its only a cash cow, but i no longer will have a choice.

After Moneysofts reveal of the Xbox one with the foolish restrictions and then the flip flop, it just looses more trust. I am thinking PS4 will be the better buy this round.

Also the PS4 and features of the Vita may be good. I am happy with VHBL and someday TN-V4. then i wont care for PS4 connectivity.

  6. RagingCore says:

aaaaah… Someone already redeemed it :'(
Btw, for the ones that are curious, it was ‘Metro 2033’

  7. BahamutBBob says:

If they do announce an SKU without Kinect, competitively priced with the PS4, I might get one at launch.

I’m still getting a PS4 either way, though.

  8. rubnvdub says:

Who cares if they are changing *** around to make it better for their consumers. People complain when they had it setup originally with the drm (mainly to protect against piracy which you cant really complain much looking at their point of view) the online *** (I too being military was annoyed by this I take a console when I deploy to help pass the time, the headset (who really cares like really its a basic headset they will end up on amazon for like $15 just like the 360 *** headset and turtle beach and all those others will make top of the line ones that will replace em) now the kenect…either way I could careless. If originally you had to have it on I wouldnt care. For you whining saying what if it breaks well then its on you for putting it somewhere stupid where it will fall or break. The new kenect looks awesome and I plan on leaving it hooked up consistently.. lets just hope it doesnt have horrible feedback when not using headset

Stop chiming in like little 12year old girls. Consumers didn’t like the plan, so they changed it. Seems like a company who takes care of their consumers. . not walk on them.

    • your xboner is showing says:

This being said after xbox told everybody to screw off about the restrictions for not 1 or 2 but like almost 5 months…

On a side note, b/c I’m not sure if I can post links for proof…

      – google it, ~ around april
(earliest reveal date I could find)

      – forbes.com /sites/insertcoin/2013/06/12/microsoft-we-have-a-product-for-people-who-cant-access-the-internet-its-called-xbox-360/
(xbox saying, oh you don’t like the restriction? your SOL)

      – forbes.com /sites/erikkain/2013/06/07/nsa-domestic-spying-program-makes-xbox-one-even-scarier/
      – wired.com/opinion/2013/06/why-i-have-nothing-to-hide-is-the-wrong-way-to-think-about-surveillance/
      – forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/general_discussion/f/3817/t/1417684.aspx?PageIndex=1
(various supposed reasons why the new kinect is disliked, mainly american spy concerns and PRISM issue etc.)

I’m not saying that the xboner won’t be a good system (still debating between that and ps4), all I am saying is that I can see why people are not happy with the company and that I’m not really convinced that they rescinded the policies just because fans are not happy.

PS: Just wanted to mention that I’m not attacking you or anything, just trying to start a discussion. 🙂

      • rubnvdub says:

Oh I understand no worries but keep in mind the drm issue was originally come from the software companies really wish I could post links as im on my phone so its a hassle but I remember reqding several times that the drm policy they were putting into effect would not have benefited microsoft in anyway it was mainly to prevent piracy issues along with helping these companies make a few bucks on even those doing used game purchases.

Not even gonna lie I have a firmware modded 360 and love it. Hate buying a game for almost $65 after tax to be completely disappointed in it yet dont want to sell it to game stop for a measly 15/20 bucks but rather it sit on a shelf. If I enjoy a game I downloaded 9/10 times I go buy it. But anyway drifting off topic. I understand why everyone was mad originally but now it sounds like sony fan boys feel the need to poke and praw at the fact microsoft is changing *** for their customers. To be honest for a $500 console plus tax so after spending about $560 PLUS a game or two on launch day…. damn thing better come with a freaking headset. Lol

there is always going to be battles between the top two consoles/products at the end of the day

Ps4 and xbox1 will both be the only two major consoles in peoples homes I dont even consider nintendos wii or wii u as major consoles anymore not since after gamecube

        is it november yet?

  9. lowsnamebrand says:

I won’t be buying this console at least not for a long time, I don’t think MS even knows what they’re doing, sure the changes are what consumers wanted but they aren’t showing any backbone to what they initially wanted the console to be. I can’t support a company that doesn’t even know what they’re attempting to do

  10. Jdubs says:

If they release a system without the kinect for $399.99 or less I’ll buy it at some point. I still have my ps4 reserved though. Ps4 + Vita = Awesomeness!

  11. squiggly says:

They know exactly what they are doing. Trying to sell consoles. The people complained and they listened and changed their product accordingly. They want consumers to be happy with their product, so they will do what they can to make people want it. People think they don’t listen, but if it will change their bottom line then things get done. This is not just a Microsoft thing either. Sony and other game development companies do this all the time. That is why Sony didn’t go the DRM route (but trust me they want to also) Don’t be led to believe that any game company cares what you think, but they care if it messes with profits. They want you to LOVE their product and hate the others….because of profits. They feed off loyalty all the way to the bank. That is just how they work. Personally I’m a fan if of, “If its fun then play” regardless of the platform its on. Who cares what console its on as long as you are enjoying yourself.

    • Developer says:

Then please tell me what the Major differences would be between the PS4 and XB1?(other then Hardware) The XB1 is TRYING to be much like Sony’s console. Thus changing everything they ever believed in, if they thought that this was the future(talking about the E3), how can they claim they have ever listened to the gamers in the first place?’

You can say Sony doesn’t care about their customers, but they didn’t make these mistakes to begin with. (by actually listening to their feedback).

Creating an error is 1 thing however, going so far to the point where the core and loyal XBox fans leave the console for another is ridiculous.

Many events have shown that Microsoft only change their policies when their stocks go down, and or investors leaving them.

Are they doing these things for “us” gamers, or can’t they deal with the fact that another company is taking over their industry?(since PS1/2 time)

MS is known for Windows and they are market leaders in terms of software, MS feels like they own the market and couldn’t stand it that Sony is doing so well “on their turf”.

I’m just a nobody telling the facts.
Wether you believe me or not, it’s up to you.

it’s the truth that counts, the question is: how much of the truth, do you really know ;).

      • squiggly says:

Keep in mind, they only care what you THINK when it interferes with profits. Of course they care about you and your money. They are all a for profit company.

Microsoft changed their tune because people didn’t like what they offered. I agree they don’t want to loose market share to Sony. Sony didn’t implement restrictive DRM because Microsoft announced it first and listened to the publics negative feedback on this. Sony was waiting to see what Microsoft would do and wait for mistakes and lash from the community.

Really Sony just sat back and watched Microsoft poorly deliver their plans.

Microsoft could have rejected DRM at E3, but they just went ahead with it.

But really the only difference between the consoles hardware is practically DRM and input devices. The experiences while playing games would most likely be indistinguishable.

  12. DeathOfChaos says:

Alright, but are they still forcing you to buy the kinect with it? If so, it’s even worse, lol xD

  13. leonalchemist says:

not surprising, we already that they planned to sell without kinect cause ps4 is cheaper, they just trying to do wat happened from the Sony conference at E3; so basically now xbox is a ps4 clone, how sad. i mean microsoft had their own strategy which didnt work; then they just decided, “hey, who had a great marketing strategy and kicked our butt? Sony with their ps4 so lets copy them!”
    Total fail :/

  14. ivo says:

what i would really like is a crossplay howto
    got lbp2 lbpkarting on ps3
and lbpvita and crossplay lbp from store
    but howto to crossplay ?.?
thkx is a side effect from remoteplay

  15. ivo says:

and i dont mean inviting a friend
but downloading extra software on vita
while opening remoteplay icon but not clicking on remoteplay
    but on crossplay
it says stay tuned to download extra software from ps3
    but never connects
as it says start crossplay software on ps3
but lbp2 on ps3 doesnt change any of the steps
inside crossplay –remoteplay icon on vita
    thkx for listening

  16. me says:

    D03s 1t pl4y 1S0s?

  17. Tnutbutter says:

They are that worried the PS4 will out sell the Xbox One

  18. tryrush deppy says:

i can’t wait until everybody who owns an xbox one start flooding the internet with complaints how microsoft waited until they sold enough consoles to then (with a single mandatory firmware update) implement every original restriction with no option to revert ¦)

    • cabeza de pico says:

So, as always, most sony fanboys won’t buy xbox one because of all the “180”, but at least Microsoft it’s doing their best to bring a more decent product for us and for them.

I would love to see some of this attitude on vita, i got mine 2 months ago, bought 50% of their “best games” and it’s still a mediocre product (with ps+) because sony doesn’t think on all gamers, they only care about ps4 and its future buyers.

I like both companies, but Sony has made FAR more mistakes with their products.
If you need to ask wich ones, then you sir are a truly fanboy.

  19. SSJ-Vita says:

The last time I commented here I had referred xbox 3 to skynet and then when I went to post again another time the post didn’t come through so this is a test. Testing to see if I am allowed to type here.

  20. SSJ-Vita says:

Sweet I’m still able to post here, well thanks to Snowden you can all rest easy knowing that everything with a chip in it is spying on you so not just the xbox 3. I still hope xbox 3 and ps 4 falls on their faces. Death to proprietary slave software, Viva Freeware! I really hope devs can find a way to equip vita with internet radio….it’s embarrassing that my 1’st gen ipod touch can do what my vita can’t 🙁

  21. Dmaskell92 says:

Not sure if I’m alone here. How many experience bad 360 analogs? I take care of my controllers yet after a month or so, the left stick is destroyed (Player moves without touching). I often sat wondering to myself… Why doesn’t this happen to my PS3 controller? I think it’s either better hardware, or the placement of the analog keeps you from putting allot of pressure on it. Either way I have such a “To heck with Microsoft attitude” over that issue alone. The controllers aren’t cheap…

  22. ungarok says:

    what is yjctq ….. …..?
i have an idea about it 😉

  23. ivo says:

    nvm my comment on crossplay
its just confusing that crossplay gets promoted
as to merly inviting friends witch is invite
but lbpvita crossplay functions good with lbp2 ps3
alltho its more of a sony dualscreen
than the actual dualscreen i hoped xD
and allso switching between vita and sixaxis must
    but it works great 😉

cant wait for cod crossplay or battlefield
    or deux ex

  24. L337Snowman says:

Everyone here is either stating the obvious, or is just so *** *** that they can’t form proper paragraphs/words about their opinions. Where the heck is all the valid input? Does anyone have anything helpful to say? I pre-ordered an Xbone even before they denounced all of the DRM *** because it didn’t bother me. If you have XBL gold (like me) your XBox is going to be connected to the internet all the time anyway, so why is the “always on” thing a problem? And with the used games thing, the solution was simple, DON’T BUY USED GAMES! They even announced that the console was region free, so people could just buy cheap hong long copies for $20 anyway. But I do agree that the kinect thing was ***, glad they got rid of that. On a side note, has anyone in the US seen stores selling kinect for windows? Because I recently moved to Japan and they sell them in EVERY store in akihabara, I had never heard of it (apart from the skyrim pc mods and stuff) for pc until yesterday.
