Playstation Evolution: The next big thing
Yesterday Sony started a series of videos showing a retrospective of the Playstation brand and its hardware iteration. Yesterday was the PS1, and today’s video highlights the PS2.
The video emphasizes on the PS2’s power at the time, its DVD player, and some of its “revolutionary” accessories such as a network adapter and the EyeToy. But more importantly, the video insists on the commercial success of the playstation 2 (the console has sold more than 150 million units since it started selling in 2000).
The Playstation 4 is believed to be announced in 3 days, at a Playstation event in New York on February 20th
