  2. jan says:

I guess it is for the exploit because (SONY) they suddenly cover up things

  3. MaxiExtreme says:

I am one of the users of reported this to Sony.. lol
    !

  4. bruno says:

Aren’t we becoming paranoid? Lol. I’m jk.

My fear is that they’ve found the fw2.0 exploit that we’re seeing on the scene.

  5. Rusheee says:

hey can someone tell me how i upload to the cloud storage my ps vita uncharted save? thanks to all

  6. BaconNeggZ says:

    This post is a waste.

  7. NakedFaerie says:

Just more proof there are no testers anymore. We are the testers.

Thats also why there are 0-day patches for games as even the game devs have quit the testers and let the public test them as its cheaper to get testing for free than to pay people to test out games.

Everyone is cutting corners to get more money sooner.

  8. Rafael707 says:

I heard about this 8 hours ago, probaly just a minor update xD

  9. psvrox says:

cant download 2.0 firmware from sony page???

maybe there is really a vulnerability

    anyone got the update.pup?

    @wololo??

  10. power_bi says:

    Testers are needed in
    production, as developers
    add new features to the
    engine, so that the claim
    that there are no more
    testers – unfounded

  11. power_bi says:

patches always come out because the programs have
    recently become more in
    *** dozens of times, and
    if before the source AAA
    project weighed 40 mb, but
now it can be up to 4gb. And in order to fix a bug you
    need to spend about 4
    months, and the time
    running out in the
    meantime. therefore easier
    to produce 100500 patches.

I hope you understand the meaning of this post.

  12. AyeGuy says:

Damn…we just got 2.00 and now another update?

  13. The Kid says:

Actually, my PS Vita will not find my wireless network on the first try after the 2.00 firmware update. I have to try it a second time for it to work and also I noticed that that game icon of the game you have inserted in the PS Vita doesnt shake anymore?

  14. Soldier says:

Do newer games require newer firmwares or no? I hope not… I really don’t like updating firmwares because it feels like they take more features away than give you new features. I however do like the new feature that allows the browser to work better and not get that ugly checker look, but why was the browser sc*** up to begin with? Shouldn’t the browser have been better at launch than we were given?

  15. slipk487 says:

    wonder if it’ll be forced.
my ps button quit working and power only works if held 15 sec so im sol with my vita at moment.

  16. psVitovic says:

someone should sue sony for this… this can’t be covered by terms and conditions… heck, people have downloaded more firmwares than games… SONY, this is a game console not a developer toy

  17. psvrox says:

thx Z – thought there was something and u had to delete them 😉 what ever 🙂 nice Job 🙂 thx

  18. hammer says:

the 2.0 auto save bug is real, my games won’t auto upload the saves, auto upload works for trophies and game patches, just not game saves.
so this update is to make things right, not a security update.

  19. keyz16b says:

hopefully fw 2.01 just fixes the auto save bug and nothing else.

  20. cheat67 says:

well i did submit an improvement Sony could make so hopefully that is 1 thing that will be included….maybe if i announce it on here i could have some help for this annoying problem.

i told them when the memory card gets removed on purpose or accident it starts updating the home screen and moves every single app around then you have to go and reorganize them all <.<…..so i said that all they had to do was simply add a refresh touch screen button so when u switched cards or if it got removed by accident u wouldn't have to try to move all your apps back into the same spot u had them…also now that i think about it it would also help to add a "save home screen" button so that u can always get back to where u were :)….tyvm for any1 that helps and hope i don't have to deal with this annoying problem again.

  21. Davee says:

“But, I digress, is there more to this? could Sony have found a possible vulnerability? maybe a Vita one? or a PSP one?”

    Please don’t be that guy.

  22. tracer22jhayahr says:

i guess this news will bring the vhbl release take a little longer..

  23. ivo says:

    updated to 2.00
Now the proud owner of a brick 🙁

  24. MrWuTangSr says:

Is this really a post?Update with breaking news about a firmware that may be a total discomfort to devs if attempted to hack this is silly.

  25. JJHIGGINS says:

I agree with the last post these little sprinkle of things shouldn’t even be acknowledge i rather you post what you got for black friday or thursty thursday.

  26. DarknessMt2 says:

I have test to make an update and the big bug is maybe the biggest lag when the downloader try to close all applications. My Ps Vita have a big lag ..

    • DarknessMt2 says:

it’s impossible to me to shutdown the ps vita and it’s impossible to cancel ^^’ and the firmware have not start the installation..

      • kupomogli says:

Does it have a circle in the middle of the screen that keeps going around and around? If so, you hold the power button down for a few minutes and then it shuts off. Turn it back on and it turns back on in restore mode.

  27. IgnusArmagadan says:

I find there to be way more wrong with the latest PS3 update, especially the PSN… I swear, the new PSN on the PS3 would have worked way better on the Vita than the PS3… after the last PS3 update, my system has frozen and acted buggy more than it has its whole entire life span….

  28. gunblade says:

isent sony upgrade the ps3 n ps vita to there new cloud network (the ones they jus bought)or will they be more for media storage or game play…(wandering if its realy thechical sony vita 2.0 [bug])

    • gunblade says:

(is) sonys live screen realy more of the vita moniter then just a update(firme games apps)donwloder… updater…. think they made update to the live screen in 2.0 too. think fo sum reason the vita dont have to much hardware to run it cuz mines still beeen laggin at time since i bought it n had to hard reset n shutdown probly almost more then ten times but i would wander wy my thouch screen lags when the thing trying to push two…they realy should have shut wite there early diesing n just put in a bigger battery but i guess since they had to have the thing be a replacement for the psp n have it almost the size of one they did not think that if u putting one psp in two one experia with sum ps3 parts they realy should have think for push all tree hard core… but i guess the 512 wat ram of dd3 is alright when u not doing to much with the ader two part of the put toghether psp experia ps3(ps vita)

  29. gunblade says:

but with dis hardware lag that sony seems to have i have to wander about there so called vita accesory port buy the volume buttons n if i can have two vita connceted to does ports to as to say have it run faster…..

  30. mars says:

Well 2.01 is live and required at least in the US.
