Release: eCFW 6.60TN-A for MHP3rd (JP)
Following the release of TN-A for Urbanix by Total_Noob, Japanese porters, hiroi01 and teck4 are bringing us yet another sandboxed PlayStation Vita HEN, this time for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.
The Japanese release of Monster Hunter 3 for the original PSP was originally found to be exploitable in the past month. Since then hundreds of users have had the chance to download the vHBL port. Following the release of TN-A for the PSP Mini, Urbanix, many were left to wonder which vHBL releases the HEN would be back ported to.
Wonder no more, as this marks the first of what will possibly be numerous back ports to older Vita Homebrew Enabler releases. Just as the Urbanix exploit for the European version of the game was ported to the US and JP versions, there’s no doubt Monster Hunter will follow the same suit. It is asked, however, that you practice patience while the porting takes place.
If you are one of the lucky few who own MHP3rd on 1.80 or lower, you can hit up the source link for the official release of the save game you will need to start enjoying eCFW 6.60 TN-A on your Vita. There you will find instructions on what files to place where and how to execute the exploit. I feel your pain, I updated a few hours before this news from MHFU which will likely get the kernel exploit ported to it very soon.
However, Tuesday’s release will also be worth it.

Great news, i like how things look for now, and this seems like a good time to practice patience since i’m using MHFU, other than that i send a huge THANK YOU to all the people making this happen, for those who are still working hard and those who left the scene, than you all…

I already installed cfw on my ps vita, but where can I download ps vita unit 13, LittleBigPlanet to play?
Or this cfw just use to play psp game only?

Gee I hope if the backporting comes to MHFU, that all the 30 minute crashes associated with MHFU stop too. There isn’t any post 30 minute gameplay crash with the urbanix exploit is there?

Correct, this exploit is only good on 1.80 or lower.

dont know if i should stay with mhfu or update to 1.81 and get new game to be able to use psn stuff like netflix.
It depends on what you want. Do you want PSN, which could be blocked at any time with a new FW update that will surely come, or do you want to keep the game you have and wait for the exploit, that may or may not arrive before Tuesday.
me too cant decide but im thinking what if the assassins creed comes up with 1.81 update.

Hello World. Ps Vita here 1.80 w/ MH3(Jpn) ready for instructions. if anyone would be as generous to help, i tried to install OCMA and had an epic fail, any assistance is appreciated. Also I have been missing the psn…a little. W/ the eCFW 6.60TN-A will I have psn support?
