Love my vita but the software library is killing it for me. I hope they’ll integrate the vita into the next gen playstation console just like the new wii u controller that”ll boost sales and the library will catch up sooner or later

  2. KirkD says:

I know that I’m pretty satisfied with mine. As you’ve said, I just wish they’d update the browser to support HTML5 and flash… instead of wasting time and effort releasing all these stupid, separate apps.

    • Atwelve says:

They don’t want to add in the html5 because they fear it’ll be breached and people will achieve a jailbreak through it

      • fate6 says:

ok I was going to point out how Sony nor anyone has ever said that but im going to give you the benefit of the doubt

so now show me some source and prove your statement
whats that ? you cant ?…… yea thought so :3

  3. CrystalMusic says:

As owner of Vita, yeah I’m satisfied with it in terms of Hardware capabilities and still the games are decent, I’m hoping for more games to be released this year.

  4. Kevin says:

Uncharted: Golden Abyss was really good.

The number of serious games for the Vita can be counted on one hand. That is a problem. Assassins Creed and Black Ops will hopefully give the Vita new life. There are also rumors of Monster Hunter coming to the Vita. Slowly and surely the library will grow.

    • sdfsdf says:

      not sure about this
I tried Gravity Rush Demo and that game looks better in all ways,
by the way I have Golden Abyss Full version from shop

  5. Elratauru says:

Well, I’m satisified with it, but I skipped the PSP back then…so I’m playing a tonshit of PSP games on it.

As for PS Vita games, UMvC3, and a few others keep me busy while I’m waiting for P4 The Golden.

I’m sure the Vita will get a boost of sales along with the PSP in japan, when the new AKB48 comes out…because, you know… It’s AKB48. Pretty much the same situation that happens with Monhun (aka; Monster Hunter).

  6. auron says:

Those people are stupid, the vita has a lot of potential that isn’t even tapped yet and there satisfied. wait in the upcoming years its gonna be great if they get a lot of dev support and great apps in the store!

  7. Zonic says:

UMvC3 and Uncharted were good but until Sly 4 and Assasins Creed come out it’s going to be an expensive mp3 player for me.

  8. kittu says:

yeah games are definitely very important for PS vita right now, But one more important factor is hacking and exploiting of Vita. I am not saying ISO support( though I confess that I would love to see that) But I would love to see homebrew and emulators running on Vita. I believe that half of the people out there are waiting for the Vita to be hacked before they buy one. Then once this Vita is completely exploited Sony could release Vita V2.0 and everyone would be happy.

    • qwikrazor87 says:

I’m one of those people waiting for it to be fully hacked before I buy it. I’m content with my PSPs for now.

      • kittu says:

yeah I have a vita, But my friend is still on PSP, he says the exact same reason. He bought galaxy nexus 7 instead. I had to wait for almost an year before psp 3000 was open for homebrew when I bought it, I guess it will take almost the same time.

  9. KasperBrewski says:

I wish they would hurry up and release PSOne Classics

To get it to really sell, they should work hard on bringing PS2 classics to the device too.

GTA San Andreas on the device anyone?

    • mcgee says:

Second!! Ive owned every gen psp except for the 9000 model. I currently have a go to help me play y psp games such as crisis core and my final fantasy psx games. I have a ton of und’s that are starting to collect dust. Fortunately I have created back ups to play on my go which I would like to see on the psv.

    • Josh says:

It’s amazing that they are taking so long and making such a big deal out of a feature that:

      1. Should have been built in from the start
      2. The PSP has supported for years
      3. Is technically possible already as the guy with the kernel exploit proved.

PS2 support will probably take years.

  10. Nitsudr says:

i like my vita so far. I owned a psp 1000,2000, and a go. I am expecting the ps3 and vitas remote play to compete with the wiiU. Sony can hopefully make remote play even way better with the ps4.But if they dont get their act together with the functionality now it will never happen. They have been promising the world with remote play and delivering nothing, then blaming developers for not using it, which i think is horse *** (excuse my french), because it should be native to the hardware and ecosystem/OS, because thats they have always sold it in advertising in my eyes. if sony just delivered what they promise instead of creating expensive propriatery formats, maybe vita would have a much higher attachment rate to ps3.

to wololo, your comment about the web browser and html5 was very interesting to me, what would be the reason for sony not to have a html5 browser?it seems like a much more elegant solution to many of the vitas flaws. Couldnt they have farmed this out to opera or something?

  11. Hrod87 says:

I got my PSVITA on may, and so far the only game i enjoy and really believe its great on the device is Gravity Rush, the hardware is great, but just as you mentioned on the article, it’s under used, i think it has potential, it just need a push from Sony to get more great games on it, i really hope this happens on the near future.
BTW im waiting for All Stars Battle Royale and COD: Black Ops Declassified :3

  12. Andre says:

I liked my psvita so much, that I changed my 3ds for another psvita

  13. Xemnas says:

The Vita has so much potential, but I feel like no one is taking it seriously. I was at an independent video game store that had every console you could think of: from NES to PS3, Wii, 3DS, etc. It was just missing a Vita section. I got my Vita the second day it came out and I still only have one game, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and a PSP game. I’m not interested in the other games (except Ultimate MvC, but I’d rather get Street Fighter X Tekken). I hope we’ll get a lot of announcements tomorrow at Gamescom. If it is a let down like E3, than I think it really will be the “last nail in the Vita’s coffin” (I’m sick of seeing this being said).

  14. Trecenters says:

Not satisfied, All handheld devices which have been for the Mature Audience have been disappointments. Gamegear was my first, PSP was my second, now PS Vita. I only own it because I keep thinking with such massive hardware capability there will be some great games developed or ported over.

No one is willing to develop the games that I enjoy for it. Sure if you like Little big planet, Stealth 3rd person “assassin creed & MSG” or Football I am sure it is great.

I just want to see stuff like Battlefield 3, Left 4 Dead, Saints Row, NBA2k, Batman, Fallout, ect..

There are a lot of B titles coming out when we need AAA games.

    • PraiseTheSun says:

sony doesnt make the decisions on what games come out for their system. the 3rd party devs have to decide if they want to make games for it. but no one wants to because of pirates like you people and their scared they wont make money so they go towards family friendly companies like nintendo.

also sony makes security more focused instead of software improvements also because of you pirates. id be happy only with homebrews so i can get my emulatirs.
why do people steal games only to kill the 3rd party developers? sonys the greedy one leave the game makers alone.

      • Norml says:

Well that’s a lie to begin with and guess what?
There’s no piracy on the Vita, so right now, would be the golden age to release a game on the unit if your theory has any truth to it.

The Vita right now, should make the developers flock to it & make that money, be one of the firsts to bring console experiences on the go. Developers could build their name right now in the gaming market.

        • Norml says:

But people do need to realize that games for the Vita, to be of quality and better than PSP quality, will take more time to develop and create just like they do on a home console.(Rushed games turn out like MK, a great game but the characters have no detail or animation…really put me off from buying any other games)
As of now, $ony should be cattering to the software on their unit, give a little, even if it’s ONCE a month…anything, would be great.

  15. OMightyBuggy says:

I hate my Vita, still play my 3DS more.

  16. CATPowah says:

Still with my PSP, but I might get a Vita soon enough. Only when there’s more game published for Vita.

  17. Crimson says:

I’m playing with my psp more than my psv. Tons of good old/new games to play again

  18. Adrian says:

I’m not satisfied and also not unsatisfied. The device itself is very good.
Like everyone but Sony knows is the main disappointment the lack of a good browser. It’s seems to be so simple…

    * Why is the browser so ugly?
    * Why isn’t there a DLNA client?
    * Why can’t I simple put my media on it and play it?
    * Why are not multiple user accounts are allowed?
    * Why is the Twitter app so good and the Facebook app so bad?
    * Why is the map app so bad?
    * Why does Skype drain the battery so fast?
    * Why do Youtube links not open the Youtube app?

I still have some hopes in 3rd party dev’s through the SDK. I think a lot can be done through the SDK. I for instance would pay for a good browser (hopefully Opera), a geocaching app, a good e-mail client… For me the Vita could be a good Smartphone replacement.

    • wololo says:

Awesome points. The lack of DLNA client nowadays is really a bad bad move, especially when there are so few codecs supported by the media player itself.

  19. Etnies22 says:

I only got Vita because frend make me a superdeal Vita for 100€.. 😀 I took it only because i tought that would be hacked fast and i saw milions of games on net…But wasn’t even thinking that this lovely handheld is from sony.. 🙂 I hope the give up patching exploits..to make better console sale… 😀

  20. ×_× says:

Sony focusing more on security than software, smh

  21. Cercata says:

Early adopters should be more than “satisfied” if you want to sell tens of millions at that price range.

  22. xyz says:

I’m waiting for a Vita slim.

  23. StepS says:

tu n’es pas satisfait alors? :O

  24. creea says:

Imagine if the psvita was owned by nintendo. *dreaming of playing zelda on vita*

  25. Norml says:

Exactly what I thought would happen has been happening with the Vita. So I’m happy to have the device just to have it(plus I can play MK on the go, YAY!) but I tell everyone else to wait it out, not only for it to grow and start being better supported (all around) but no doubt that when that time finally does come, $ony will be ready for a revision. No need to have a device with a battery that slowly dies with or without use that can’t be easily replaced without opening the device just to play a few games that MIGHT! be a little better than on the PSP.

  26. PraiseTheSun says:

the vitas already slim. so basically you just want an android phone?

my vita gettin much love i gots most of the accessory, lots of third party games sorry sony but your first party games sux imo.

plus once i start hacking my vita i get to play pokemon on a bright oled screen.

im selling my 3ds unless nintendo turns it into a vita hardware wise. people who ask for vitas price drop cause the 3ds got one dont know the hardware involved between the two.

  27. BattaTrattaKill says:

Satisfied with my Hacked Vita, you can do so much stuff with it. Sony just needs to pull their head out of their ***’s and deliver on the ps vita. E3 showed how much Sony cared about the vita, by only showing 2 min’s of it and showing almost 15 min’s on Wonder Book???tf. yea HMTL5 and Flash is getting argued by consumers because they all want to watch *** on a gaming console. common sense.

  28. BigCockSurprise says:

The thing that is killing me is that the vita supports SOME psp games. I’ve bought a couple of them on the ps store and the only one I can play is MHFU… As for vita games, well I starting a bit to get tired of waiting for the good one to come out, like playstation all-star battle royale and stuff. The good games announced are all coming out around christmas or somewhere next year.. Sadly my vita have been sleeping on my desk for at least a month, I’m wating 1.80 for the release of VHBL and only then I’ll be able to play emulator games while waiting for the good one to come out.

  29. Utterly Utter says:

Well I’m satisfied of the quality of my console so far the thing that *** me off is that as you said, it lack the most basic functions such as decent html 5 and flash support! I’m not really worried about the lack of good games for it since the only game I want for my Vita is LBPV. ^^

  30. Praed0r says:

    Vita – Hardware Excellent
    $ony $upport via software – ***

The only concern $ony has is security – they don’t differentiate between Homebrew (us)& Piracy (dorks).

If they don’t wake up to reality soon, this will be the last $ony portable games machine.

All it would take right now is for a quality Android manufacturer to bring out a 5/6 inch tablet with some decent hardware controls and $ony will be dead in the water.

I Hope I’m wrong by the way, I love my Vita.

  31. romaion336 says:

I’m not satisfied. Lack of game, lack of functionnality… it’s my last Sony’s product. definetly 🙁

  32. BenzieBenz says:

    I love my Vita

Gravity Rush: Is amazing, Graphics are cell shaded, Took 4 days to complete with about 4 hours a day. The side missions are tough but not necessary. IF you dont attempt them the game is harder as you need to obtain crystals to upgrade you attacks and hp.

Wipeout: Amazing, the very last race is a bit tricky. Graphics are amazing and cross play helps. IF you purchase the add-ons from the store you have well over 40 hours of game play on the vita.

Modnation:…..I cant say much….Bad gameplay and lack of content…Draw distance is very bad. you can see the track generated as you race. Track design lags a bit

Rayman Origins: Very good game, 15 hours completion first time round with no Time trials. The trials are very hard and the read touch panel provides no use except zooming in and out which I did not do.

Uncharted: Honestly…Im not a fan of any of the games due to the combat. The storyline and Graphics are amazing and the exploring is great.

Waiting patiently for Little Big Planet and disappointed that Sony have pushed the All-Stars Battle Royale game back a month. Still November release isn’t bad for this years seasonal game.

  33. xerpi says:

We want more and better games!!!

  34. tonyuk73 says:

I’m satisfied now that I can play homebrew on it.
but before I really thought that I had waisted my money.and for some reason I thought the app market would be more androidish…if you know what I mean.

  35. Luke says:

whats funny is……i can go to Walmart…. read their little demo flier that looks like a spiral notebook shaped like a vita………open it……and it says……..supports full HTML5…….what tha heck….this was printed by sony not walmart i looked
