about the xperience playing with the device connected to TV.
i wrote a review about a usb gamepad time ago, that can be used on android 2.x (without support of usb gamepad) and next (with gamepad support via USB).

in the case of this device, i suggest to you to try playing with any wireless usb controller and give us a feedback about how works on this device. I wrote many reviews about these kind of devices, and i can said that the experience is good, too near to play in the original system.

and about the control problems… well ,you tested the fix and this help, but not solve the problem. we’re trying to contact the manufacturer to try to introduce some changes on the board and fix this problem. (really hope the manufacturer listen to costumers and resellers)

question: how the write speed of the internal memory? (can you test with antutu?). Hope i can test it this week, but for now i must read reviews about this device.

    good review.

I only have PS3 controllers and the Droid X360 does not seem to recognize them (they go into charge mode when plugged in, but nothing else). I don’t have any usb controller and would not like to buy one if I realize it doesn’t work at all on this device 🙁 )

I will test the read/write speed and let you know

PS2 or PS3 are not working as a normal USB gamepad. you need special modules/drivers to be loaded to use on this kind of devices.

i hope today i get mine, and will write a review, and do some testing related with bluetooth dongles (i found other devices such Engeldroid that have support to bluetooth usb, but don´t have interface to configure)

If this device can handle a usb bluetooth, then there is a chance to connect PS3 sticks to play with him.

by the way. if you have another android game device, you can check this i wrote too.

with this, may you use this device (droid x360) as a gamepad to connecto to another android based device (such a tablet, phone, set top box, etc) via wifi. (if you have a Yinlips or JXD, you can do the same way to play on this device, or viceversa)
        😉

        Greetings!

This is a great review Thanks for all the details on this hardware. I’ve never been a fan of the android interface, but hey they are getting better. There is only one emulator that interest me and it works on the Droid x360 and that’s the N64, I wish we had that on the PS3. Thank you again for the review.

    Pity.

The controls seem to ruin this device which could have been a very fine emulator device. After all it is just cheap chinese stuff. I will get my hopes back to the vita.

Has anyone tried opening this thing and see what the physical controls are like? Maybe it’s possible to do a little “under the hood” mods to make them more responsive? I’m hoping it’s a hardware issue that someone could find a diy fix for.
