[PS3] SEN Enabler & Disabler 4.21 – sign in to SEN on CFW
Developer Nathan_r32_69 released a tool yesterday to allow people on a CFW to sign in to the SEN (a.k.a. PSN) by spoofing the necessary information.
People running a CFW on their PS3 can usually not connect to the SEN since they do not have the latest firmware. In order to be able to log in to the Sony network from a CFW, some information needs to be spoofed on the device, and this is exactly what this tool does.
Please note that using a CFW is against SEN’s T&C, and if detected, this could get you banned. Yup, I know that some of us want to run a CFW and *still* be honest customers wanting to buy their games, but apparently Sony is against the idea… so just so you know, you access SEN on a CFW at your own risk 🙂
SEN Enabler-disabler is compatible with most PS3 Custom Firmwares, including the DRM-dongle ones.

cool .. if it is spoofed 100% they shouldn’t be able to tell.
Actually, they can quite easily. The PS3 logs all key-presses, game usage, HDD contents, peripheral devices (including USB HDDs, your router and other computers on your home network) and access times, uploading them to Sony on a regular basis.
Did I understand the word spoofed wrong? Other computers on my home network? Damn so they hack through my firewall with the Japanese technology? Damn … ZomG I will defiantly stick with my stealthed Xbox then !
That’s sounded exactly like disturbing someones privacy, it isn’t true. They would go to jail for that and it sounds much worse than Google does
Sony doesn’t hack your router or modem, it simply can view the information you have your networked computers set to send on the network (anything a device plugged into your network can see, your PS3 and Sony can see.)
This was all revealed over a year ago when the traffic sent by a PS3 was logged by ps3 devs. This is also how it came to light that Sony would send complete credit card information unencrypted over their network.
Its invasive, but accepting the ToS includes accepting the PS3 and Sony will data-mine your actions and network. Sony won’t go to jail over it, just like they didn’t for the BMG-rootkit scandal, the PSN data theft and its information security negligence, or Sony’s violations of US law on credit card information storage.
PSP saves your account details in plain text as well. Now excuse me while I write down all my passwords on a billboard.
Does anyone know if the REBUG version of SEN Enabler will work on the REBUG TB CFW ?
hey dear i have ps3 with 3.66 ofw can i put cfw in my ps3?is there any way to jailbreak ps3 3.66 if yes please help?
You would need to downgrade your PS3 to 3.55 first. This can be done using the E3 Flasher.
i download it but it didn’t work.when i try to sign in it says system need to update and when i check my system version its 4.21 im using kmeaw cfw and i use and i also tried the react version but still didn’t work can someone plz help me
There was a maintenance update yesterday on the PSN which might have broken this hack
Wololo what have you heard of the news regarding CEX to DEX coming to light? Any comments on that or a new article perhaps? What I have read is a bit over my head…
Yes, I’ve read about it. I’m trying to compile an understandable summary, which is not super easy since I still do not have a 3.55 PS3 🙂
Alas, I am in that same boat… I do enjoy reading your articles since you bring it down to a novice tech’s level(and I hope to see one)!
If I have read correctly it should work on any PS3 regardless of the firmware. You just have to compile the file or those hex codes into something useable.
That I’m pretty sure is not true. I’ve read a FAQ on ps3hax I think where they (pocket69?) said “it works independently of your firmware”, but I think they meant “independently of your custom firmware or debug firmware”. Basically people who have a 4.xx PS3 still need to downgrade using an e3 flasher in order to benefit that technique, as far as I understand
