      4.20:
      -adds support for a Sony made artificial surround sound Bluetooth headset, adding [Sidetone] to Audio Options
      -allows you to set system auto-off for Video/TV/Music/Photo independently of Game/Other Features auto-off
      -select/delete/copy multiple PS3 save games at once
      -changed time zone [Samoa Islands] to [American Samoa] and [Independent State of Samoa]
      -the Bluray player AACS encryption software was updated.
      And the most importantly
      -it closes the Rebug PSN bypass that was available recently for those on CFW 3.55

    Will my games play slower if my ps3 is high?

    Maybe I’ll wait for Update 4.2x to come out. I don’t want to chance it!

    This is maybe a stupid question bit is it possible to download your games (illegal) and play them online by spoofing??? And when you do this wont you get banned?

      If Sony detects you are playing with a CFW they will ban you. If they detect you are playing with a pirated game, they will send the cops on you. Be sure you understand the laws in your country before you pirate any game. In Europe, this can mean up to 300’000 euros in fine, and 3 years in jail.

      If you’re asking if there is a chance sony does not detect you, then yes, maybe. But if I were you, I wouldn’t risk it.

      They can contact your isp and get your real address from them. It happens quite often in cases of copyright infringement.

      re-worded “How can Sony Send the police my private information when they cant track down my Fake account?? I didn’t put my sensitive info in the account”

      Sony can track down your ps3s ISP which means they can find your router and track down your information by what is sent, uploaded and viewed on the internet and not only can they pin you for what there looking for but they can also see what other illegal stuff your doing..

      They only come after you if you pirate games. Not installing a cfw.You just have to be smart about what you download. Don’t go download a brand new released popular game on the market ie: the upcoming COD Black Ops 2 (which I heard will also be on the Vita:))

    I live in Austria/Europe and I know the laws in the European Union.
    NO they DO NOT send the cops after you if you play a pirated game – even online! LOL
    Owning, playing, downloading pirated stuff can only be sanctioned by civil law which means Sony has to sue you directly which they can’t because they don’t get information from your provider without a criminal offence – which this isn’t.
    You only get a problem when you UPLOAD pirated stuff and earn money doing this. Then it can happen they search your house because this falls in the range of criminal law.
    So: stop sweating and know the law and your rights!
