TN Hen for 6.39 – Total_Noob still has it!
Total_Noob released earlier a port of his Hen to some1’s exploit, making TN Hen compatible with firmware 6.39.
For those who are lost in this sea of CFW/HEN, the guide CFW 4 Dummies is here to help you, and is regularly updated.
But to summarize, let’s just say that now if you’re on CFW 6.39 (the latest PSP Firmware), you now have the choice between Total_Noob’s Hen or CFW Pro.
With the massive popularity of CFW Pro, I was wondering how many people are still using TN Hen, but it seems Total_Noob’s Homebrew Enabler is still fairly popular. It seems to be helped by the fact that 6.20 is the last firmware (for now) that allows permanent CFW: people seem to stay on 6.20 a lot…
as I type this, almost 70% Hen users are on Pro, but 20% are still using TN Hen, which is huge considering 6.20 OFW is really getting old (Sony released it almost 2 years ago) . Total_Noob’s Hen still has a massive popularity, and this new release will probably increase it 🙂

You may be are forgetting neur0n’s LCFW ME in 6.39, which is also for almost all PSP out there, except Go.
This shows why The Prize of the contest should be to given to Total Noob.

6.20 pro because it’s permanent though I do find taht I miss the good old days of patapon. Pata pata pata pon.
I wasn’t part of the poll but I’m still on TN 6.20. I’m a wimp and don’t want to risk saving to the flash. I find that TN Hen works great for what I use it for. I think I’ll stick with it since it’s inside my comfort zone.
6.20 im still on 5.03 on my 3000 and 5.00.m33-6 on my 2000.

I use 6.20 TN-HEN too, it work flawless, PRO makes some of my games slow. TN gj!
I am on TN 6.20 and I never want to leave it. It is the only HEN/LCFW/CFW which is comatable with Tilt FX. I have been following TN ever since he found the 6.20 KExploit.
Wow, new TN Hen. nice. But I thing I will stick to 6.20 TN-E. I love it. It’s works fast and does not lag.
I’m still on 6.20 hen though not apart of the poll. I never have issues with it so why move on to another… nearly 99% of the backups I tried run perfectly fine.

Total_Noob released a free item that is completely free. His time went into making this, and if you want to make a cfw that you think would be better, go right ahead. But until then, please keep your childish insults to yourself.

I hope your rather small and closed mind can comprehend this, but there are people who do things for other people, not because they want glory or money, but because they want to do nice things. TN accomplished more with his hen then you could do with a normal (larger) sized brain, so lets not be to judgmental. I’ll use the tried and true statement, If you don’t want it or like it, don’t download it, and don’t mouth off about it, or it’s creator, unless it damaged your property, and TN did nothing to hurt you. Let’s try to keep our spoiled little attitude to ourselves, alright?

all my homebrews, emulators, psx, isos, and plugins works perfect, and it looks very professional for a one person work.

nevermind. i switched to 6.20 pro6. much easier to use and i can still go online/psn store. its much better imo
I like TN-HEN. But I was using 6.39 PRO.
PRO has iso loader. But I don’t need it.
PRO’s iso loader is useful. But TN-HEN is most useful.
So I install other iso loader. I want to the newest firmware.
It is “6.39” TN-HEN! I can install TN-HEN again!
I’m glad that TN released his cfw, but I must say, it’s kind of a sissy move on his part. I liked his cfw, and I used it over pro. But when my psp got upgraded to 6.37, I was stuck without any cfw. Then finally TN finds a kxploit, and he refuses to release it because he’s mad that people like pro better! But then some1 comes around with HIS kxploit and rocks his world, and TN decides to port it to 6.39, just so that people will still respect him. I downgraded, and I haven’t look back.

Somebody please help meeeee!!!!!!Why my psp cannot play games as normal as usual anymore? Suddenly yesterday after letting my friends playing with it, I found out now I cannot play games anymore. It has become super slow!!!!Very slow in playing iso/cso games. I’ve tried to remove all other games and just leaving one game in my 16Gb memory sticks(because I thought it might be due to so many games I put inside that cause it to be very slow, about 11 games) but it never worked. I still cannot play games!!!Anybody help me please!!For your information, now I’m having system software version 6.20 TN-E, and my psp is version 3006.
A friend of mine also had the same problem, press select, then change the cpu speed to default, it should work now n.n
Ok Everyone I read all that is written above but still have a question because it was never stated clearly. So the TN-HEN for 6.39 is for all PSP’s 1000 2000 3000 and GO? If the answer is YES, then is there more than one version of the HEN to install for the GO vs. the x00x models? I only saw one download for the HEN so I am thinking it has to be for all PSP’s. Thank you
