  4. dan says:

@Lorz you said earlier if you make an eboot for each disc it would work right? would this work for legend of dragoon? does it matter what converter i use?

    • Lorz says:

      @dan

It’s probably best if i refer you to this thread http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=3920

What i mean by “it works” is that the discs will actually load as opposed to crashing your PSP when you try to start the game……….. but switching discs can still be a problem with some games depending on how saves are arranged, some games allow you to save right before switching discs and some do not, the ones that do not could be a problem.

One other issue with multi disk games is that for one disc to be able to access the save from another disc, both discs must have the same ID…. not a problem while converting because you can easily change the ID in the converter program, you should usually change all discs to the ID of disc 1…….. however, the way the PSP tracks game IDs is using a folder named as the ID…. which means you will have multiple folders with the same name…… as anyone knows, when you try to place two folders with the same name into the same place… one will overwrite the other……………this isnt really a problem if you are copying the discs from your PC to your PSP as you complete the last disc, but if you wish to have more than one disc on your PSP at the same time, you will have to get creative
In the /PSP/GAME folder you would create 4 folders with the names legdrag1 to legdrag4
in each of these folders you would copy over the game ID folder for each disc…. since they all have the same name you woulkd need to have them properly organized on your PC
the path of each would look something like this
      ms0:/PSP/GAME/legdrag1/SCPS45461/EBOOT.PBP
      ms0:/PSP/GAME/legdrag2/SCPS45461/EBOOT.PBP
      ms0:/PSP/GAME/legdrag3/SCPS45461/EBOOT.PBP
      ms0:/PSP/GAME/legdrag4/SCPS45461/EBOOT.PBP

With this configuration you will need to have the game_categories_light.prx plugin installed which will allow subdirectories inside the GAME folder or else they will show as corrupted data on the XMB

This setup should allow the discs to share the same save file, whether this particular game allows you to save before swapping discs though, I do not know, hopefully it does.

    • Lorz says:

You flashed to TN-D perm CFW didn’t you?
Alot of people can no longer play PSX games after flahing to perm

It’s still very buggy and not at alll a finished work, right now it’s more just a proof of concept than anything….. you might be better off uninstalling it and going back to regular TN-D or Pro-B2 until LZ releases a stable version of the perm CFW….. which will probably be his own work and not borrowing TN-D

      • Kisos says:

no i didn’t instal a perm tn-d , sorry for post my email , i’m cant stand more fails about psx in psp :p , plis man help me

        • equis says:

What HEN version do you use? PSP model?

          • Kisos says:

            6.20 TN-D (+Fix) psp 3010

          • equis says:

You need a PSX game in PBP format. So, if you have one but in ISO format, convert it with PSX2PSP. Once done this step, copy your game in /PSP/GAME/psxgame folder, where “psxgame” is any name you want for your psx game folder (PSX2PSP gives some advice for this name). That’s all what you need, TN HEN D does everything. You only need to run it in XMB.

    • Strider Hien says:

save files for games are like own memorycards.
transfer the save file between the other memorycard via the pops menu that you access with the home button

  22. dan says:

but it doesnt have the memory card utility option (assuming thats what you meant) iv noticed a lot of my games dont have that, only ones from psn

  23. Valcrist says:

i have a question regarding all cfw especially tn-d and pro-b2… how can i go back to ofw from cfw?? when returning to ofw will it remove the changes done in the flash0 (pro-b2 writing on the flash for example)?? thanks ^_^

    • Pro Hen can’t brick any psp, just use Fast Recovery to get on Pro Hen back after shutdown the psp power but must install the 6.35Pro Hen LCFW first to get it work and it can install/uninstall back on flash by 635 Pro-B Updater

I can understand english little bit and apologise/sorry if something wrong on my language or writing.

    • Pro Hen-B3 -(Latest Version)- can’t brick any psp. Just use Fast Recovery to get on Pro Hen-B3 back after shutdown the psp power off, but must install the 6.35Pro Hen-B3 LCFW first to get it work and it can install/uninstall back on flash by 635 Pro-B3 Updater

I have another question… if im on tn-d with permanent patch how can i go back to ofw 6.20??? hope someone will answer my questions tnx T_T…

    • toBsucht says:

have a look to the readme. Disabel the plugin and use the old vshmain data.
No garantie have a look to the readme!!

  27. Coroush says:

my tn-c was working well until the TN-D released (not tn-d fix)
i installed it and now my psp shuts down, a few seconds after i start it or tn-c or tn-d fix
    what should i do?

  28. goku says:

    .Valcrist

Only run again the patch D. permanent, and continue whit the instructions to uninstall the vsh, when finish it, copy a old revision HEN D not permanent and your psp is go back to the normally…

  29. goku says:

    to: toBsucht
thats not a pluggin skr.. its a hen patch… read more about it…

  30. goku says:

    to: Coroush

First unistall the hen c.. AND try again installing the HEN D not permanet .. you psp don’t have a crash and not more shuts down…

  31. goku says:

  32. PHLiM2 says:

Is it normal for converted PSX games to *not* have the “Memory Card Manager”?
It’s pretty annoying, since I can’t delete any save data. Is there some way I could fix this?

  33. PHLiM2 says:

Ignore my last comment. Updated to PRO-B4 (6.20).the memory card (and game manual) features have appeared now 😀
