Release: 6.20 TN-Hen C
Are you more a 6.35 type of guy, or a 6.20 follower? This seems unprecedented, two different “teams” working on two different firmwares to provide homebrew functionality.
Here is the latest release on Total Noob’s Hen for OFW 6.20. This release includes major changes, including the fact that it doesn’t require HBL to run anymore, thanks to the recent added possibility to sign user-mode homebrews
Changelog: (from the readme)
- Added 50 MB large memory support for every PSP models except PSP classic. (this should allow to run more homebrews, such as Aquaria)
- – Added online gaming support.
- – Added server for TN NETWORK UPDATE.
- – Fixed bug in VSHMenu where CPU speed hasn’t changed when set it to default.
- – Fixed bug in Digital Comics that caused a crash.
- – Fixed server redirection.
- – Removed FAKE INDEX.DAT from VSHMenu, but feature is still effective (move version.txt to X:/seplugins/).
- – Signed HEN with prxEncrypter (thanks to Mathieulh, bbtgp, coyotebean, kgsws and everyone who involved to this project).
- – Used Davee’s $v1 trick to find power_buf_addr.

tekken 6 not working on psp 6.20 hen-c it just stay for a long time black screen
So is there any actual risk when using ISO TOOL, HEN C and loading an ISO? I cant afford to brick my PSP and must know.
No, ISO Tool does not mess with flash0. I have a psp GO and 6.20 TN HEN C and it’s working fine, your psp is safe.
Are there any apps/homebrew that tamper with flash0? I want to know before i consider getting HEN.
And am i able to remove HEN?

Well link me to where i can find out? All I really want to know about is what causes bricks 😛
Any application that involves the memory flash, like a downgrader, a CFW, even the Official FW can cause a brick if you turn off the power or things like these, but if you just create a XBM icon, that is only involving the memory stick, so there is not danger
What about homebrew and ISO though? I heard ISO uses flash0 and that some homebrews do.
don’t worry…. as long as you dont try to downgrade your firmware or flash a CFW you will not brick your psp.
ISOs will not brick your psp, they don’t touch the flash.
There are a few file manager applications(such as psp filer) that you do have to be carefull with…. under normal use they are fine, but if you try to enable hacker mode within them…. they can brick your psp because they do go into the flash 0.
as for the hen itself, it is pretty much safe, and yes it is removable… it just copies to your memory stick like a game, it doesnt flash anything, you have to run it each time you turn your psp on to enable homebrew
So to remove it, I just delete the HEN folder? Or is there something else I’m supposed to do first?
And as for my final question, since everything so far says I should get HEN. Would it work ok on a 3002? Or would I get the freezing issue everyones talking about?

hey im using iso tool 1960 to make an xmb icon it work fine
but when i start the game it runs with np9660 driver how do i get the m33 driver to load

I’ve read somewhere (can’t seem to remember though) that you must hold the “L trigger” while you load your iso back-up of your game in order to change drivers.
I’m not entirely sure if it works as I haven’t tried it yet as I’m contented with Prom…

I still can’t play Rock Band Unplugged! Yes it’s loading but it appears that the text from the menus are missing (at least from what I can tell) and it’s not playable.
It just hangs when I start the game.

hello guys , i’m having a problem with this new HEN-C , i’m trying to update my killzone iso , to a online game suport , but , when i hit download in the game , to update , the game “call” a UMD disc instead of the STICK CARD , and the game stuck and the web page that should open , dont apear…. , soooo… what can i do about that???? thank you guys

Very impressive with all the break through. But to bad that most of the devs are excited with the break through, they are not concentrate on the iso loader. Without strong support for iso loader, most of new games are not working. This could be a long wait for user, since devs are more interesting in hacking than gaming. They also have many targets instead of one. Now they work on 6.2, 6.31, 6.35, and 6.37 with signed OFW or TN-HEN. Unlike in the past, which all devs concentrated on 5.03 chickHen. I can see a big mess coming when they don’t have 1 targets.
@daddy I dont really care about ISO loading at all. I believe if one wants their game to work perfectly they must go supports the team that made it for them so ya its fine for me that not all ISO works ATM.
@daddy well the Game Developer surely concentrated on one thing in common, that is not developing anymore games for the PSP. Thanks to piracy.

m running 6.20TN-C on my 3000. rock band loads fine …. but its not showing all the songs is there a way to unlock’em

guys, im currently using this tn hen c… but when i open promethues iso loader theres no games that is popping up. why is that?

It’s not going to work on the TN-Hen. But since you’re on a psp 3000 you can just downgrade to 5.03.

how much is the risk of downgrade from 6.20 to 5.03 on a psp 20xx?
well i think there’s no risk because the psp uses the oficial upgrade anyway i need to confirm but my problem is that i can’t install a cfw like the m33 i don’t understand that tutorials there are to many *** and fakes can anyone pass me a good tutorial for install the m33
how to install 5.00 m33-6
check with pspident
it says INSTALL CFW and has a yes or a no
if YES download the ofw update for 5.00
rename to 500.pbp
put it in the root of the ms
get the newest recovery flasher and start it
once u get to the menu
make sure the target fw is 5.00
press install cfw under that
i would reset settings when it asks u just to be safe
cross ur fingers and it should install in about 5 min
after its done it should turn off but if it doesnt then hold power
your done!!
make sure it says yes in pspident
im not responsible for any bricks
I wouldn´t downgrade a PSP go to 5.03 or a psp 300X (4g)

Guys I just downgraded my go from 6.35 to 6.20, and I’m running TN Hen C, but now I’ve got a question : How does the “version.txt” thing so you can fake you FW? In what folder in my PSP should I copy the file to fake the FW? I’m pretty lost here =S
And also I’ve got a problem with gpSP kai, it seems to work fine but when I try to load a ROM it loads like half the bar and then causes me a crash (that’s kindda weird)
OK! I found a version of the gpSP that works on TN Hen C, i just tested it!
It comes ready to use ( If you know what I mean ;D )
Place your ROMS in the ROM folder and that’s it.

I’m not trying to downgrade, I did it already, I went from 6.35 to 6.20, so I’m now running TN Hen-C.
The deal is that I dont know how to play my God of War: Ghost of Sparta (wich I bought from the PSN when I bought my go) on it =S
I dont know if I did the “version.txt” thing right,I created the file, copied the script on it, saved it, created the seplugins folder on the root of my go, then placed the .txt file there, but still it tells me that I have to update to 6.31 to play it, that’s my only problem with TN-C right now.
But still TN Hen is SICK! 😀

hi…um i’m sort of a noob at hacking a psp and i just want to make sure that i’m correct to say that this WONT work for a psp 3001 with 6.31 ofw. Is that right?
you can downgrade your psp 1st then use tn-c or u use a upper hen but my fav. is still tn-c. Do not update your 6.2 for some x-tras(pro-hen6.35) if u don´t know how to downgrade :p
