6.35 Hen Pro signed: Run the Hen directly from the XMB
Since we started signing homebrews, we’ve been seeing a continuous flow of releases (by the way, check this thread in which you’ll find a bunch of signed homebrews, thanks to toBsucht)
As reported by many sites already, liquidzigong released a signed version of 6.35Pro, the Homebrew enabler made by developers Virtuous flame and coldbird. In simple words, if you’re on 6.35, you don’t need to run the Hen through the sukkiri Demo, you can run it directly from the XMB, which, let’s admit it, is extremely convenient.
Now, I see questions coming. Yesterday, I did say that homebrew signing was only for user mode applications. But the Hen gives you kernel access… Did I lie yesterday? Not at all. The Hen is a user mode application that uses a Kernel exploit in order to gain Kernel access (if the Hen was a Kernel application in the first place, we couldn’t run it from HBL…). So, the signature allows devs to run a Usermode application which triggers the Kernel exploit, and returns directly to the XMB in Kernel mode.
Another question is: why would we use the Hen now that we can sign homebrews? Well, here the answer is the same as “why would we use a Hen rather than HBL”? Some homebrews require Kernel access and won’t run even if we sign them. Some people want plugins. Some people want isos…
Also for those who wonder, although the “signing” bit will be tricky to patch for Sony, the Kernel exploit used in the Hen (it’s the same exploit in TN Hen and 6.35Pro, of course) is extremely easy to patch, and if Sony take the time to release a new firmware update, the Hen will not work on it anymore, signed or not.
I tested it on my PSP 3000 in 6.35, and it works fine, although some PSP2000 owners have reported some failures running this version of the Hen.

Loving this grate stuff!
WHAT?!?!
What’s next? PSP robots taking over the world?!?
love liquidzigong!!!!!!!
Great, but I will wait for a better Hen release =\
I hope Total Noob finally release his hen to work on 6.35
great news, this war is almost ours 🙂
good for 6.35 users but im not going to update from 6.20 i will wait for a signed for tn hen i was also very tempted to downgrade my psp to use chicken r2 one of the reason i did not downgrade to 5.03 is because i dont like the 1-10 attempts to launch chicken r2 the other reason because i want to use tn and i want to see how will it has become by getting diffrent beta.
chickHen r2 for v5.03 ofw works with just 1 click for me. I downgraded my v6.20 psp 3000 ta-092v2 to v5.03. ChickHen runs fine on it. Just one single shot and it works all the time. I don’t want to upgrade to v6.35. I’m afraid to try.
Downgrade it, i did that and i basically have cfw on my psp 3000. With the signed 5.03 chickhen, 100% success no trial and error
Well… what should I do in order to read chinese?
use google chrome
Somebody have to sign the TN-B HEN then…
should i upgrade from 6.31 to 6.35?
Can anyone answer this for us? 😀 Thanks
YES of course. 6.35 is better than 6.31 and to add, 6.31 HEN is discontinued.
Now I’ll never have to hear the “Minna no Sukkiri!” voice or that music ever again. Thank god.
Also, @wololo, if Sony does patch out the kernel exploit will you resume development of HBL (assuming another exploit, such as TN’s VSH exploit, is released)? I mean, on the one hand some of us like to play online, or Sony might release some incredible new feature (slim chance, but anyway) and HBL seems like a nice middle ground between “official” and “homebrew” On the other hand someone will probably get PSNLover working for 6.3* not too long after the next OFW comes out. I know HBL’s open source, so other people could develop it too, but what are your plans?
New Tutorial!!!!

Congrats! Now everyone can play Wagic on their PSP!
I haven’t tried Wagic before, but now I’ve been stuck in there all day. Haven’t played Magic since gradeschool (almost 20 years ago now.. wow…) but I’m enjoying it again now on my PSP. And since anyone can play now, is (online) Multiplayer planned for the future?
@JordyVision : Multiplayer is one of our dreams, but we’ve been lazy… it’s stil one of the projects for Wagic though 🙂
Whoops, meant to put this one in the signed Wagic post. Obviously. Thanks!
@tij: It depends. Most people in the homebrew community will say not to, it’s generally thought that you shouldn’t upgrade period if you want homebrew. One good reason not to is that supposedly it’ll be a lot easier to make a downgrader for 6.31 than for 6.35, so if you’d like to downgrade just stick with 6.31 until one comes along. Otherwise, since more recent development seems to be focused at 6.35 than 6.31, I’d actually recommend upgrading in this case.
@iy12l: I just uploaded it here: http://www.mediafire.com/?ua8jhoj9m1a1wuc
Thank you, Wololo, for Wagic.

We need TN-Hen 6.20 signed
Me too
i wonder if it can load pbp games…coz its cool if the games are in xmb not in prome iso loader….and is there a iso-pbp converter coz its too many and i dont know what to choose
The HEN_signed for 5.03 also works on 5.03 OFW
yes i would like to have 6.20tn hen without going through patapon which to me take longer than sukkiri demo.
sign hombrews to download http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfbZPd1399Y
@ wololo: Should I update 6.20 tn hen to 6.35 pro?????
is it worth it???? Plzzzzz reply
I may not be wololo, but I think that you should stay at 6.20. tn’s hen is better than the 6.31 & 6.35 hen. Not to mention they dropped support of 6.31, and are making 6.35 cfw instead of working on 6.35 hen. So if you have a 3000, or a 2000 with an “unhackable” motherboard, it’s useless to you.
Thank you for your reply!!! but Is gen better than tn hen?
So I have 6.35 PRO user-mode signed on my pspGO.
If someone does release a signed TN-HEN, will my 6.35 psp be able to use it?
Somehow I don’t think so (teh nids r d1ffrEnt)
??????
quik queston, is there going to be downgrader for 6.31? i hear alot of yes and mabys but any release dates? btw running psp 6.31 pro sukki ane hbl

I tried signing the TN HEN-B 6.20 and it doesnt work 🙁
Recovery Flasher v1.65 Released
It’s On PSP-Hacks.com For all you 1k (and older 2k) models you can go back to CFW 🙂 I Have a 3001 🙁
so i dont this
i’m hen 6.20 user and now its for 6.35
do in need to update to 6.35
or and devs to create xmb bootable hen for 6.20
sorry i’m newbie..
You should probably wait and stick with 6.20. As best I can tell, a signed HEN doesn’t offer any advantage other than loading speed; once it’s loaded it’s the same as unsigned. Upgrading OFW from 6.20 for this HEN doesn’t seem like a good idea, as TN_HEN seems to have more development and better compatibility (this is coming from a 6.35 user).
thanks sleep and sorry for my bad English
i dint notice the typing errors
(to the topic) you are correct 6.20 users are safe landed people
guys light vsh for 6.35 is on pspking.de works 100%
Only has clock and usb charge options though. When they say light, he means very light. Haven’t tried any plugins that require a vsh menu to work, so I can’t comment on that one.
where to put this eboot file?
Can anyone sign the 6.20 HEN ?
I dont want to update to 6.35……
have anyone tried to sign the 6.20 ?
In my case it loads but goes blank and crashes…………..
Where to put this eboot file? can someone answer me.
i put it in psp/game and i also have to run hen after hard reset. i dont get it. it’s quicker than sikkuri but on the other hand it is still a must to load hen after hard reset. nothing new for me, maybe i just don’t know where to put eboot file?
I didn’t say it was anything more than that, did I?
now i get it, yes you didn’t say more than that.
