TN Hen on a PSP Go
Total_Noob was hard at work over the weekend and showcased a video of his Hen running on a PSPGo:
Additionally, he told me that the Hen is now compatible with all PSP models (I mean, this single EBOOT works on all models, there is no need for 3 different versions of the Hen, which was not the case of the Beta I received, dedicated to PSP3000).
Edit: I wanted to add that Total_Noob has some kind of agreement with the site pspgen.com, and does not allow me to post any information before them. Total_Noob has kindly shared lots of information with me on his progress, most of it is not critical information and I’d like to share it, but I don’t know what is “pspgen exclusive content” or not, so I can’t post it for now.
So, well, if you want to get the news a few hours before everyone, seems you’ll have to learn French and read pspgen’s “exclusive” articles.
It’s crazy what a site can do to a developer just by sending them a pspgo. For information, psp-hacks.com sent us 2 pspgo when we were working on HBL, but didn’t ask to sell our souls in exchange.

damn! i think you should have same rights like pspgen.com. You Should Post New Updates of TN HEN because your are the Dev of HBL and He use your exploit. I think HE will release a first Rev of HEN (6.20 TN-A) for all pspmodel this month then Later after fully work he will release the (6.20 TN FULL) this december like team typhoon did. OMG! PSP GO SALES xD

we will recieve a HEN which shows a fat “SPONSORED BY PSPGEN.COM” banner everytime we launch it? and it delays for 20 seconds like a rapidshare download?? ***?! and for eliminationg the countdown we need a PSPGEN.com premium account?????
or did they just wanted to have the exclusive rights on the information?

My French stills sucks so I’ll be visiting here often :D. Anyway, thanks wololo for the heads up! It will be more fun than reading newspapers on French XD.
i still dont like PSP GO… i like 3000.. and think thass the best model all around once hacked… otherwise it was a freaggin nighmare

I don’t understand why there is a huge website brawl arising over this. Wouldn’t it make sense that Total_Noob tell both you and pspgen not to release any info, and once he decides to put it up on his blog, anything is up for grabs since the information has already been released… Could that possible work? I mean, if I was TN, which I certainly am not and have no where near as much skills as he does, I would just post the info on my own site. Does anyone feel the same way? I just don’t think Total_Noob should choose or, i guess, pressured, into choosing favorites.

The new PSP Go has built in bluetooth (the led for it was on the right of the video), which meant he could use a bluetooth remote or controller to take control of the PSP.
Pretty classy if I do say so myself.

if i got everything right, pspgen.com sponsored a PSPgo to toal noob, but they want to have the exclusive rights on any information about the HEN in exchange, which will also mean that the HEN will be first released on pspgen.
wololo complained about that being a pretty high price for a simple pspgo,
since psp-hacks.com sent the HBL team 2 PSPgo, and the only thing happened was that wololo included “psp-hacks.com” into the “thanks to:” list. (you can see it scrolling at the very bottom in wMenu)

Thanks for the clarification.
It is a pretty high price for a PSPgo. I kinda see this as a bribe for exclusive rights, but whatever. I’m sure there are way smarter people than me taking care of this and my posts aren’t going to really change the tide of things.

Is this HEN permanent? Or when turn the psp off become blocked again?
@Alexis its not a permanent hen if you completly turn the psp off you will have to use the patapon thing again but the best thing to do is put your psp in sleep mode that will make it a permanent hen in my book.
the 6.20 TN HEN will be first released on pspgen.com..because total_noob is a member of team gen…
you guys all forget that Total Noob is a member of Team GEN. I’m sure he feels loyal to his own group and thats why its been given exclusive rights to his own team = more publicity for team GEN. perhaps its just a condition of his team. Remember how Team GEN made 6.20-GEN-A ages ago? Perhaps it was total noobs exploit too, and they werent happy about releasing it but now are? simple.
I’d still prefer my psp3000 if this works on PSPGo
@Wololo Can you use this TN’s HEN to permanently downgrade your PSP Go to CFW, so you won’t need to use a hack at every reboot???

no, as long as you cant load IPL,
there will be no CFW and the best you can get is a HEN.
now, IPL loading on next gen PSPs is very unlikely.
