It’s been confirmed by trusted sources that the upcoming PSP Firmware 6.30 patches the Patapon exploit, which is the vector to HBL. I know many people will come to us in the future, telling us they didn’t know about the exploit and foolishly upgraded…well that’s life…
Nobody can say if/when a new exploit will be discovered. So, as usual, if you like homebrews, DO NOT UPDATE TO 6.30.

I updated to 6.3 so now I can use HBL? I will take my answer off the air.
@Nickolas: the koens loader is under development and does nothing so far. I haven’t seen their code and I believe they are serious, but keep in mind that it takes exactly 5 minutes to code a homebrew that will display some text “loading iso” while actually doing nothing. In other words I won’t comment on the koens loader.

It is just getting worse and worse for the devs as well as users. I wish Sony won’t learn from Microsoft Zune’s firmware, which actually allow you to do nothing at all.
@Sony Corp. It cant run every game perfectly but so far its playing all the ones i enjoy most. Mario Kart 64 runs at full speed without graphical issues with the sound turned off. It runs fairly smoothly even with sound too. And the same goes for Super Mario and MRC.

I upgraded to 5.50 before I found out about ChickHEN before and I’m not gonna do something like that again!

I was going to get the ratchet and clank psp (under 5.03) From lockerz
but there were bugs in the redemption and it wouldn’t sign me. Then the next redemption they raised the price, then took it out
and the shop redemption I was going to get a mac book air. I was at the redemption in 10 seconds flat and it was fresh out >:(
