I believe it’s because they just released a new version of their custom firmware for the PSP3000 🙂 congrats to Team GenyUs!

Also 5.03gen-d3 for Non Hen Aka psp 1000 2000 is out too. Took quite some time and had to use an alternate mirror to get it because their website is just flooded with traffic, but I am all happily updated. Now to test Wagic on it.
AkeReinverse: I just started reversing the chickHEN HEN core recently, its fun 🙂 Learning MIPS is a bit easier than x86 asm IMO.

@n00b81. I think it’s the vice versa. Assembly codes generated by prxtool, if compared with the one from x86 is much more unreadable. I learn RE based on book of x86 disassembly, & convert it to the information of appropriate mips explanation, some of it were untransable. In the end I had to wrote the C codes compile it using PSPSDK, disassembled it to understand the mechanism of how codes is generated.
Anyway regarding chicHEN. HEN core files composed of ~5KB unknown codes in header & elf files in body. What is header for?. I don’t understand any of its.

@AkeReinverse – Every HEN is similar. If you understand how a HEN works, you won’t have to reverse all those headers..
This update additionally unlocked 64MB RAM for homebrew usage. Uninstall option is also a nice feature.
