    I would like to see the game have more support of magic. So fix bugs which prevent this.

    Leave more cards till the end, because other people can help add them.

    Because of Wagic. I have decided to make my own home brew as well. But not a fully card game based though. 🙂

    Anyway. I think what Wagic needs now is that… A better interface, fix crash and bug fixes.

    Bugs:
    Urza’s glasses
    Can press X on your deck or opponent’s deck

    Interface:
    -Hard to navigate during gameplay. The deck list rox
    -Hard to know what is going on
    -Card’s never show pricing nor do they show as “rare”, “uncommon”, “common” when you shop
    -Booster never say the cards we get
    -When trying to interrupt unable to see we are trying to interrupt. That is why unable to counterspell without knowing it’s manacost or what it does.

    Suggestions:
    -Add in OSlib library which I am using. Simplifies codes a lot easier and i learn how to make a homebrew in just a few hours. Making one now, need more graphics lolz. Object-oriented Development
    -Make a zoomed in view on the field instead of overall view to get a better look on the cards
    -A choice between zoomed in view and overall view
    -Another view to look at opponent’s or just your play area
    -A Choice to discard which card when I have more than 7 cards (maybe later on, but not now)
    -Optimize the code (I gone crazy when I see the number of header files lolz)
    -Interrupt interface needs to be improved.
    -Defending creatures and attacking creatures should be shown as cards with the word “interrupt?” instead of letting it be in small interrupt box.
    -the () and x should be changed to graphics instead of wordings
    -A clear white line between 2 cards during deck selection [] | []
    -Perhaps loading all the cards in both decks at once is better than loading them during game. (not sure if it was implemented)
    -Uses of triangle and square button. Zoom in?
    -External cardlist with cardabilities (inside the cardabilities header :P). So that people can help you add cards and send to you to make your life easier
    -A clear showing that you are casting spells. Instead of red box

    cards not that important until the base system is ready to take them on without crashing. More cards = more likely to crash and more bugs.

    AI currently can win us without much intelligence, their deck is so much better that is why for starters, the AI is already owning us badly. Nothing much to care for now though. If you made them more clever, we would never win.

    Err.. hey.. aren’t you suppose to be preparing for wedding 😛

    Hint: You can choose which card to discard by clicking on it during your cleanup phase, if you have more than 7 cards in your hand at the end of the turn.

    Yep. I’m convinced Lightning bolt works, but you’re right, the interface is not clear. I have ideas to improve that, it should be easier in next version 🙂

    The use of Regenerate ability is a pain. (and maybe all the abilities of creatures).

    In the next version, player should have access to all the cards, for testing purposes.

    What would be good for the abilities, then ? I thought paying the mana cost then clicking on the card was ok….

    To add cards to your collection:
    Res/sets/RV/_cards.dat is the list of cards that are currently managed by the game.

    Res/player/collection.dat is the list of cards in your collection.

    You can open both these files with notepad, and update collection.dat to add cards.
    If for some reason this crashes the game, erase collection.dat and all the deck files in the player directory, then relaunch the game

    Hmm it could be a lot of work but you can…euh je sais pas pourquoi je continue à parler en anglais en fait XD

    Bref, alors pour la capacité regeneration, le probleme est l’interface d’interrupt encore une fois. Lorsqu’on utilise la régénération de plusieurs créatures, le cimetiere se met a jour a chaque fois, un mauvais bouton et paf fini, la créature est morte, et en sus, on a un point de mana non dépensé.

    En gros, lorsqu’on veut regenerer de nombreuses créatures, ca prends deux heures.

    Comment faire pour éviter ca. Hmm, peut etre une possibilité d’accéder a la liste des capacités de toutes les créatures de notre coté en jeu, et de choisir simplement de les utiliser. Peut etre proposer une régénération automatique. Mais cela voudrait aussi dire, qu’il faudrait coder des interfaces similaires pour la plupart des capacités qui s’activent “en réponse” à quelque chose. Ce qui serait plutot long et chiant.

    Mais je pense que la clé du probleme c’est surtout ce passage déja cité par truc :
    “Interrupt interface needs to be improved.”
    Apres, de quelle façon, il faudrait que je me pense sur la question tout en sachant tes idées et tes capacités de programmation (histoire que ca donne pas “Ou alors tu pourrais faire une interface en cube digitalisé que apres on pourrait avec des effets de lumiere faire tourner à revers selon un ….”).

    A version of the Magic cards with AI for the Dreamcast came out some time ago and it played very well decks including the combo decks. I think AI based it on how to play the deck in reality, not on how to play with whatever deck because it could be played with only 12 decks or so, and it was impossible to play with a CPU random deck. I think it’s also a way limited, easier and the results are more than good
