This is the download page for Wagic, the homebrew. Wagic is an internationally acclaimed open source Trading Card Game simulation, made by card games fans and backed up by a large community of players and modders. The project has been active since 2008 and supports a massive amount of cards. Wagic is especially adapted to mobile devices (PSP, iPhone, iPad, Android,…) but also works on Windows and Linux PC. Wagic works on Windows, Linux, the nokia N900 (maemo), the Nokia N9 (meego), Android (tablets and phones), iOS(iPhone/iPad/iPad2) and the Sony PSP (Wagic does not require you to hack your PSP).
The current version is version 0.17.1
Each release is extensively tested on several machines including my own PSP/Computer/Android phone. However Wagic is a work in progress so please check the buglist.

Misc
Windows Version
If you get an error complaining about MSCVP100.dll missing you probably need to install the following Visual++ package from microsoft here. If you still have problems, check the forum thread
Android and iOS versions
The Android and iOS port of Wagic are still very early releases and we are aware that they are not perfect. If you’re a dev and think you can help making this project even better, please contact us!
Linux Version
We don’t officially support the linux version, it is distributed here for convenience. However if you have issues running Wagic on *nix, ask for help on the forums, you might be lucky and a good soul could have an answer for you

Wagic is open source and released under the BSD License. The sources include a modified version of JGE++, a hardware accelerated library for Windows/PSP/Linux/Maemo/iOS/Android.

I downloaded the homebrew, and when I ran it on my psp I get 2 little screens of the game in the top half of my psp screen. Now, this can’t be right any reasonable solution to this problem?
I run Chickhen R2 with Custom Firmwire 3.60 any suggestions? Thanks a lot
I love you guys for creating this game! although it is still not complete, and is still under development, but hell its freak’n sweet! Keep up the good work guys. I hope that you can try adding more expansion sets for the next release. Damn, can’t wait for the next version…

Hi Wololo,
I just tried to install your Wagix 0.9.1 on my PSP Slim & Lite, it has a CustomFirmware, 3.71 M33-2 and after the download I unzipped the folder to take it directly in the GAME folder of the psp- but when I try to open it, I can´t because of defective data!? What is wrong?
Hi Gabriel. you have a very old firmware, I suggest you upgrade to 5.00 m33 or one of the recent GEN firmwares.
If you don’t want to do it, I suggest you put the game in the GAME300 folder instead of the Game folder. This is a 3.xx homebrew, not a 1.50 one.Thank for your answer but after I created a GAME300 folder there was nothing to open at all, even no defective data, its so pity because I always wanted to play Magic on my PSP. Yeah?You think the problem is the firmware? Its quite stupid to change it because if I would actualize the firmware I can´t play some games which I really like… Is there any posibility to play your Wagix on my PSP with my firmware?:-)
There should be no problem, honestly, so I don’t know what to tell you, maybe ask for help on the forums?
Anyways I highly suggest you to reconsider your choice. I don’t know of any homebrew that doesn’t run on the latest 5.00 m33. For old homebrews you can probably still run them through things such as LEDA
Wololo can you add support to disable analog stick and use directional buttons only, because my analog stick is messed.
my psp crashed while im in deck editor adding cards to my deck.
and it also crashed when i go in deck editor, and chose that “cancel” option.

sorry went through the forums and found my answer big BS to WoTC
is there a way to install the newer versions without losing my old decks? it took me ages to get all my decks together, months of grinding to get enough credits to buy boosters and cards, only to lose them all after updating to this version. i’m not bitching, i’m just hoping that something could be done (if it hasn’t been addressed yet) in future releases.

@lucksmith: copy the 3 following folders from your 0.10 install to 0.11: player,settings, profiles

ravine: If your PSP has a hackable motherboard (that is, if you can install a CFW on it), then there’s very little risk for you to have any problem.
If you have a unhackable motherboard, but if you can use ChickHEN, there is no risk at all, as ChickHEN is only in Ram and doesn’t touch your flash.
In other words, as long as you don’t do anything stupid there’s no risk, and you can still play your games.

Why my unlocked sets like ons/mor/scg/tsp/fut/etc. are not full?Cards like Birchlore Rangers(ons)/Heritage Druid(mor)/Wirewood Symbiote(scg)/Grapeshot(tsp)/Summoner’s Pact(fut)/etc. can not be used in game and found in sets view of trophies,but i can find these cards in _cards.dat of sets folder.Are these card not supported by wagic current version or going to appear in game with other conditions?hahaha thats not walolo, walolo knows everything ^_^ wagician let us wait for walolo,
@wagician : ONce a set is unlocked you have access to all its cards, but not all cards are supported by Wagic. The list of supported cards is here: http://wololo.net/miki/index.php/Wagic/SupportedCards0111 if it’s not in the list, it is not yet supported by wagic.

Hey, first of all this is a great game!
Downloaded the new release yesterday for linux… and maybe it’s just me… but it’s not working. I tried it on several systems now (even in Virtual Box) but the game never starts.
If I start it over the terminal on my linux laptop (where the older Version works just fine) I get the following error message:
./wagic_linux: error while loading shared libraries: libfmod-3.75.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Guess I’ll need to additionally install this library (it wasn’t included in my standard Ubuntu files when I checked in synaptic, though). So any hint would be greatly appreciated.I also saw that this time there is no linux.static included in the download – was that on purpose, or just forgotten? Or am I missing something here?
