Wow, what an exciting few months it’s been! I’ve really enjoyed working on this project— it’s an honor being on such a great team.

I think we all deserve a bit of a break now, but I’m already looking forward to starting on next release :).

Oh, and those of you who like the themes… keep an eye on the forums. We’ve got some really good talent in this community, and I’m quite eager to see what they produce.

Good to see this released now and a big thumbs up to all the people on this project and wololo especially for this great homebrew that makes a psp worth keeping 🙂

I was working mostly on the cards_dats (bug-killing, wording updates, etc.), so I was not aware of how much better Wagic does look now! The interfaces and the dynamic graphics are just eye-popping! Great work!

this game is significantly better than so many commercial games that i wouldn’t believe it to be true if it weren’t for the fact that i’m actually playing it on my psp!

  8. Upaut says:

Sometimes when loading the new version, Wagic will shrink it’s display down to 1/4 it’s actual size, double itself, and take up the top half of the screen. Yeah, that’s right, one mini-screen to the top-left, one mini-screen to the top-right. Colors also become difficult to read, but still operates like normal. I’m tempted to take a picture of it just to show everyone what I’m talking about.

I’ve noticed it happen several times to a friend’s PSPfat, but his system is rather beat up so I’m debating on whether or not that was even a problem.

All in all, thanks for the update, Wololo.

  9. Jeck says:

Unfortunately, the issue Upaut mentions is a known bug. We believe it’s associated with how the JGE library we’re using initializes the rendering engine. Tracking this bug down is our highest priority.

For a complete list of known issues, please check out http://wololo.net/wagic/bugs/ and the Bugs 0.9.1 topic in the forum.

Amazing work. Wagic come to look very much like a retail game, only unlike PSP retail games, Wagic fully supports active member modding (themes, cards, et cetera). It is for this reason that I am beginning to doubt that an official MTG game could ever be better than Wagic and no longer wish for one.

    Awesome update Wololo!
I’ve been playing for a few days and other than the dreaded purple screen of bummer this is the best version ever.

I cant wait to see what you do next.
