“Rares”, creator of  MTGForge (the PC game that inspired Wagic), wrote an article Monday on his blog,  regarding cards from Zendikar that “could be added to MTGForge“.

There are lots of points on which MTGForge is better than Wagic, but when it comes to the flexibility of adding cards, I think currently no free application out there can top Wagic. I’m not going to talk about cards from Zendikar that we “could” add to Wagic. No, I’m going to tell you that the SVN Version of Wagic already handles 139 cards out of the 234 available in Zendikar. Yep, that’s 60%.

Edit: By the way MTGForge is awesome and I highly recommend it if you have a PC, don’t get me wrong

Anyways we are working on lots of things for next release, including major UI changes. I wanted to keep the surprise, but I can’t refrain myself from posting a screenshot of what the shop’s going to look like in next release:

Seriously, have you ever seen a homebrew with such cool original graphics??? We’ve been joined by a few talented designers and programmers recently. The background for the shop was made by Jhotun, and the card back by Jeck. Hopefully you’ll like the new graphics as much as I do, and let me tell you that this is not the only cool change that next Wagic release will have!

Oh, yeah, forgot the main point of this post: we are working on lots of bugs for this release, which is why we are a bit slow. I updated the bugs list and you can post in this thread any other issue you encounter with Wagic 0.8.1, but if you are brave enough to get the SVN versions, please post your bug reports on the dedicated page. This will be really appreciated!

You’ve probably seen a few websites saying that the latest firmware by Sony was the ultimate wall against hackers, that the PSP firmware had gone through a huge security audit to fix all bugs and vulnerabilities before the PSP Go comes out.

Well, I know for sure that Sony didn’t fix that one, so I’m convinced the “security audit” (if it ever existed) probably wasn’t that huge

And again, this is not an exploit. Actually, it’s almost sure it’s not exploitable, so don’t get any expectations here. Just to show that there are still (and there will always be) security holes on the PSP. When one proves to be exploitable, the hackers will be here, it’s just a matter of time…
