why is this? if pops_bridge works awesome i thought by
adding pops_bridge code would be something a bit simple!

Too strange. On my PSP2000 and PSP2000 of a colleague of mine, popsloader v3c+pops_bridge v3 combo couldn't load <=5.51 pops at all.
Perhaps here we need neur0ner's advice...

O.o that's correct i did not notice cause i use more 3.02,3.71,3.72 pops
5.51 actually did not work is like you said here we need Neur0ns advice!
thought i have test V2 of pops_bridge by going to V1 popsloader and even
in V1 popsloader+V2 pops_bridge will not boot 5.51 either,so the problem is not
V3C popsloader, is the pops_bridge. in V4 popsloader for Me that a diferent story.

I manage to fix 5.51 pops by downloading the OFW:

http://zload.file4u.net/Firmwares/OFW/OFW%20551.zip

and with the newdumper for 6.XX did a new Dump of the files need to boot
5.51 pops and actually it did work,it works now V3C is perfect...try it!

Id use:SLUS-00404 default
pops test it:302 and 330 pops.
This is confirmed working.

and... v4a alpha supports 4.01 pops on ME.

OK gonna release v4a beta. tested 3.30/4.01/5.51 on ME-8.

This is beta version.
popcorn.prx is "release and debug hybrid".
it temporary emits debug log to ms0:/__popcorn.txt
then after sceVshSDAuto_Module is loaded, debug mode is ended (ms0:/__popcorn.txt is removed) and it moves to release mode.
This is testing, but no slowdown anyway...

401 pops do try to boot but it stays loading on dark screen and illegal shutdown PSP.
none of the 302 up to 401 nothing happen stays on dark screen.

500=>6.39 pops=>works!
302=>401 pops =>None work!

Nope In 402 pops it stays there not blinking it stays ON,
look like is going to read but it never does then shutdown.
