This might be a silly question but does v3a/b/c only work with PRO-B9 or will it work with PRO-B8 as well?

Theoretically B8 should be OK. I don't use any function depending on CFW.

It seems my next work is to merge popsbridge into popsloader (actually done, but need test ;) )

I'll check it out later. It's going to take a while to put all the necessary prx's in each folder. :shock:

OK, so now that pops_bridge is integrated into popsloader.prx, you can use popsloader on ME with 1 pops.txt entry.

I really thank neur0ner for pops_bridge's source code release.

The only thing I think sorry is that pops_bridge itself is working only for 6.x pops. No 3.x-5.x pops on ME.

BTW,
Code: Select all
u32 me_fw;
void SetME(){ //must be called in module_start, only once
   //me_fw = 0;

   //codestation's method
   //me_fw = sctrlHENFindFunction("SystemControl", "VersionSpoofer", 0x5B18622C)==0; /* gclite's source code */

   //neur0ner's method
   me_fw = sctrlHENFindFunction("SystemControl", "SystemCtrlForKernel", 0x221400A6)!=0;

   //Anyway I don't know anything about TN's pops.
}

Testing version 4 popsloader On Me-8

As Popsdeco said 303 pops and up they are not working!
booting brave fencer musashi in 303 in not posible in V4
for Me mortal kombat triology wont boot either! All pops
between 302 and 390 wont work.

why is this? if pops_bridge works awesome i thought by
adding pops_bridge code would be something a bit simple!

thanks for your hard work until now popsdeco try to find another way!

Back to version V3C

Too strange. On my PSP2000 and PSP2000 of a colleague of mine, popsloader v3c+pops_bridge v3 combo couldn't load <=5.51 pops at all.
Perhaps here we need neur0ner's advice...
