Just used the updater to upgrade to the 6.20 that you can get through the OP's first link, works well.
I am glad to see the speed up MS has been added, I really needed it since I just got an 8GB MS from my girlfriend as an early B-day gift and it was working rather slow, but now with that feature everything runs fine.

MS speedup has been added, but not yet tested by me
Also neur0n has begun his work on making a permanent IPL patch for hackable PSPs.
MAY HAVE BUGS!
can this build be used with a go?
just asking...
EDIT: nevermind updated 620 using your lastest compile and the ms speedup works perfectly, thanks...
Re: 6.20, 6.35 and 6.39 PRO-B7 Nightly Build!
Yes, and you are even lucky here, because of the old plugins support, which is only for PSPgo atm.can this build be used with a go?
I've compiled the revision f6312063516a. Now with CIPL Flasher (unsigned) for hackable PSPs (to make 6.39 permanent only on hackable PSPs).
6.20 PRO-B7 f6312063516a
6.35 PRO-B7 f6312063516a
6.39 PRO-B7 f6312063516a
P.S. Thanks to Yoti for helping to compile CIPL_Flasher, as it didn't want to...
UPD: re-uploaded 6.39 with two missing files.

1. Yes, but take the risk as some things are untested stuff.KitKat wrote:hi, i have a few noob questions...

2. Same as you did with B6.
3.The CFW gets updated daily, while it can have improvements, also can have bugs as this stuff is mostly untested by others. You can get some sort of a changelog by reading the commit log: http://code.google.com/p/procfw/source/list
P.D.: just compiled myself and tested f6312063516a on a hackable 2000, the CFW and the new CIPL works ok.

I have a question, do I need to uninstall the permanent patch and the update and download the new files after 23 hours? or does the PSP automatically update itself..?codestation wrote:1. Yes, but take the risk as some things are untested stuff.KitKat wrote:hi, i have a few noob questions...

Re: 6.20, 6.35 and 6.39 PRO-B7 Nightly Build!
There is no need to uninstall the permanent patch, i upgraded to B7 and reinstalled it like 10 times (was testing a new compression format for cso) and never had a problem (probably the updater takes care of that if it detects a parmanent patch, havent checked that in the source code). As for updating, read the commit log and decide yourself if there are enough changes/fixes to deserve an update in your PSP, and yes, you must update it yourself (isn't automagic).Blue.Gazer wrote: I have a question, do I need to uninstall the permanent patch and the update and download the new files after 23 hours? or does the PSP automatically update itself..?
P.D.: i am in a hackable 2000, so if i screw up then i just simply write back my nand backup, so take special care if you are in a 3000/Go because you never know if a nightly could brick your psp (it can has some experimental code or untested in all models).

Re: 6.20, 6.35 and 6.39 PRO-B7 Nightly Build!
I'm really thinking on trying this since it has the speed up feature but since I only have a TA-088v3 and this is untested, I don't know if I should.
EDIT: Ok, now I created some courage (or I'm being very ****) and I'm using the last one that Blue.Gazer compiled (thanks!). It really speeded up on my heavy compressed Midnight Club 3. It now loads faster but still take some time. If I increase the buffer use of the speed up feature (or something like that) will it work better or it will harm my PSP?

wait so ummmm.. will the speed up ms function will work on psp go even without using memory stick? and does it mean that if i enable this function, i will be able to play CSO games faster? Even if it's set on 333/166?
