I got my psp from a shop called "GAME" which as you can guess is a shop which sells games and consoles. This shop now only sells go's and 3000's.

1. I don't think that is a very good reason for a thread to be locked.
2. That isn't the only question I asked.
3. No one knows how long it will take for someone to find a kernal exploit and when that happens it wont take long for a downgrader to be made.

depending on what PSP Go model you get (I think it's the ones that don't have the 3+ free games deal) it'll come with 5.XX, which'll be able to upgrade to 6.20 TN-D. I don't know, my little brother got a Go just a few days ago and I was able to upgrade --> hack it.

I don't want a Go... I want a hackable 2000 so It doesn't matter what firmware I'm on, I can still downgrade or have a custom firmware.
