Is anyone close to making a downgrader for 6.37

Postby kirby1997 » Sat Mar 19, 2011 3:05 pm

This is no lie. I came back to my house and my PSP was lying on my desk saying that 6.37 had been installed. It was my "friend" who did it and now I am really pissed off with him. Please is anyone close to making a downgrader for all PSP's. I need a downgrader because I had also just got Tilt FX which can only work up to 6.20 so I was really happy with TN - D

Nobody is even going to attempt a 6.37 HEN since the kernal exploit has been patched and there is no way (we know of) to get the access a HEN requires.
You'll have to do with user mode access (by either using signed homebrews or HBL).
If you got a hackable PSP (PSP1000s and old PSP2000s) you should downgrade.

I don't normally endorse senseless acts of violence..... but that "friend" of yours.........

Well i won't say that it will never happen.... maybe someone will discover another kernal exploit....... it's kinda doubtfull that will happen though

Yes you cant downgrade. Good news is there are signed ISOs already, ISOs can now be signed for any OFW if game size doesnt exceed 800mb IIRC. But really, you won't need to worry about HEN if you can play your favorite game on your OFW. hope this helps.

yup you are right but what about all the plugins he used and making isos to work in OFW is really a long and irritating work.TN forever 8-)

Yes I know Downgrading requires a kernal exploit and I'm not wanting the hen for iso's. Basically all I want is to be able to run homebrews like go-tube and be able to run Tilt Fx. I am now hoping someone releases a kernal exploit as an entry to the Genisis competition and if one isnt released I might sell my PSP and buy a hackable 2000. Does anyone know a site where I can buy a hackable 2000?

for homebrews use HBL r113. They just don't make a HEN for 6.37 because there isn't any sense (nothing really new in 6.37). when the new ofw is out, TN will get back his backed up exploit and make a hen for a new ofw. just he doesn't want to show this up, as it wouldn't be good to do right now.
PS: and ye, fake_np does its job, you can also use iso2eboot if you aren't pro. The limit is 728,125 mb.
