PSP Go Clock for Adrenaline

Post by Mythic Suns »

After I learnt about the Adrenaline homebrew app for Vita and how it could emulate custom PSP firmware and any plugins designed for that firmware, I thought I'd try and get the PSP Go clock to function on it (the one that would show up on the PSP N1000 if you slid the screen down). I tried using this method https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9e0ftE8pbo which I followed to the T. Whilst also making sure to replace the zerovsh.ini and zerovsh_patch.prx files with the ones designed with 6.61 in mind (these files viewtopic.php?t=8742#p102540 ) and I also made doubly sure that clock and calendar were set to enabled in the zerovsh.ini file, but nothing seemed to work. Everything checks out but it just doesn't work. Does this have anything to do with how Adrenaline emulates the PSP firmware? And if so, are there any developers out there who could get this function to work on Adrenaline? If not, it's not a big deal, I just like how the PSP Go clock looks and thought it'd be cool if I could bring it back through my Vita.

Tried it myself, same result. Seems like a decent idea though.

I would assume it has something to do with this not working on PSP 1000

Does it quit? If not, then it's legit... Too legit.

Possibly, which makes me wonder what Adrenaline is doing for it to be recognised as a PSP 1000 rather than a 3000, it feels like a small change in the registry could fix this but I'm no developer so if any devs are reading this, feel free to correct me.

The Vita's ePSP is based off the PSP 1000 model. The flash files contain *_01g module names.
PSP 2001 - TA-085 - 6.61 PRO-C2
PS Vita 3G - PCH-1101 - 3.65 HENkaku Ensō
Alcatel phone - Android 8.1.0
Laptop - Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5974 - Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
