[RELEASE] PSPVice 3.2 (C64 emulator)

Post by DelayedQuasar » Thu Dec 20, 2018 9:10 pm

Hi all,
I updated PSPVice (C64 emulator) to latest Vice 3.2. It is possible to run EasyFlash crt games (Sam's journey, Prince of Persia, ...), sd2iec d81 games (turrican3.d81), etc. This version does not work on PSP 1000, Vice requires more memory now.

I've tested it on my psvita with adrenaline and work ok, only some slowdown during loading. Thanks for your work!

Why don't make the same with xvic & x16?

Thanks for testing. I fixed some problems with attached images on System TAB, updated binary 2.3.1 is in the first post.
My update to this C64 emulator is related to previous work of Akop on it (it is based on Akop's PSPVice 2.2.15). I will consider making c16 and vic emulators.

Changed version to VICE version, so now the version is 3.2.X instead of 2.3.X. Added description file to binaries, added sources (see the first post).

Hi. This version breaks PAL games. They are missing some lines at the top and bottom in stretch 16:9 on borders off. Impossible Mission and Space Taxi are affected.

Thanks!

Fixed missing lines when borders are set to off, see version 3.2.3 in the first post.

Would you consider adding an option to choose SID Chip model between old and new?

Maybe
"FastSID, RESID, FASTSID 8580, RESID 8580"

Instead of just
"FastSid, ReSID" how it was before.

I might have an even better solution for SID Model choice, just adding a new menu option.

I am uploading the new c64ui.c file, you can do a diff and see the changes.

I cannot test or compile atm.
