EDIT: New version already, fixes analog steering controls (can be enabled/disabled in control menu now).


This is my Vita port of Cannonball, an enhanced Outrun engine by djyt.

Thanks djyt for writing such a great program and making sure it is easily portable.

Vita Controls
=====
L - insert coin
R - menu
Square - start
Triangle - gas
Circle - break
Cross - change gears
Select - change in-game camera
Dpad - menu navigation and digital steering wheel controls
Left stick - analog steering wheel controls (can be turned on or off in controls menu)


Installation Instructions
=====
Note: arcade roms from Outrun version B are required to run this homebrew!

- Install the .vpk
- Extract the contents of data.zip into ux0:data/ (it is just two folders and an info file for roms)
- Obtain the arcade roms for Outrun Version B and extract them into ux0:data/cannonball/roms
- Launch the bubble, enjoy Outrun in almost perfect 60 fps.

Great port, so far, though for some reason when you get a high score, you can't enter initials into the high score table. The button for selecting things on the menu doesn't work on the high score screen.

On the high score screen, you have to use the steering wheel (left analog stick and/or DPAD left/right) to select a letter. Then you have to press and release gas (which is triangle by default) to enter the letter. This is the same as on the arcade machine. Of course, if you enabled full analog controls (analog ON) then gas is UP on the right stick.

I just tested it and it all works.
