Swapping a PSP 3000 motherboard with a PSP1000 motherboard

Post by Nedan »

Hello,

i have two PSPs right now: A PSP 1004 with a TA-086 motherboard and a PSP 3004 with a TA-93 motherboard.
I like the feeling and the handling of the PSP 1000 much more and before i start and maybe destroy something i wanted to ask:
Is it possible to exchange the screen and the motherboard from the 3004 to the 1004 case?

You could always look for the Monster Hunter 3rd PSP, Its in a big 1k style shell iirc.

Skynow notes that, quite surprisingly, Pandora's Battery is compatible with the TA-090 mobo. So now the question stands... why the motherboard upgrade? Still no developments on that front, however, so in the mean time, here are some snapshots of the TA-090 motherboard in the wild mypremiercreditcard.
